Teton Village Lodge Rental Photos and Description
Ski in - ski out luxury rental home near the slopes of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
**Minimum Night Stay Requirements May Vary**
Granite Ridge Lodge 19 sits right on the slopes, three stories of carefree, ski-in, ski-out comfort with an eye on the action. It’s a perfect Jackson Hole luxury rental for a big family or a group of friends on the vacation of a lifetime. Skiers fly down the trails just beyond the windows, and in summertime, the deep green forests and flowering hillsides make a tempting prospect. Lodge 19 takes it all in with expansive outdoor living and dining spaces: terraces, a wide stone patio and a huge, L-shaped deck at the back of the house – with a spiral staircase linking the two. High wattage wall heaters warm the patio and deck, so even in midwinter you can lounge outside, the kids playing in the hot tub and local steaks on the charcoal or gas grill; close enough to the slopes to hear the swish of skis on snow.
The unpretentious character of Lodge 19 is both rugged and refined, softened by natural stone, hewn wood, classic red plaids and traditional Native American prints. The entrance level is a voluminous sweep of open living, dining and kitchen spaces. The living room’s big stone fireplace spreads warmth and cheer throughout, reigned over by an enormous bison with a beneficent air. To one side of the hearth is a fully-stocked wet bar, to the other, a flat screen television hidden behind doors. The light-filled rooms are all about relaxing, hanging out, and savoring time with family and friends.
Lodge 19’s gourmet kitchen can feed a small and hungry army with its big Thermador gas range and double ovens. Filtered water flows from the two sinks - one under the double windows, another in the center island. There is a warming drawer, a 100-bottle wine cooler and stools pulled up congenially to the breakfast bar.
The master bedroom is on the top floor of Lodge 19, its long open terrace functions as an outdoor sitting room with a staggering view. In the bedroom, a handsome, inviting, rustic king bed faces a stone hearth and a wide, flat screen television. The ochre walls, peaked ceiling and deep armchair in the corner evoke a spirit of easy quietude.
The master bath is a sybaritic space, with heated stone floors, heated towel rack, and two stone-topped vanities, each with its own mirror and sink. A candelabrum hangs over the oval soaking tub. Just off the master bath, there is a spacious walk-in closet which doubles as a private, fully equipped office with built-in desk, printer, fax, and lots of storage.
A wide, carpeted landing on the top floor functions as an office, media room and general hangout between the master and guest bedroom. There’s a comfy sectional couch, a rustic desk, and built-in bookshelves with a flat screen television and a fine collection of movies.
The guest room opens off the landing. A fancy, Old West-style cast iron bed is the ambassador of the space, piled with pillows and a cloud-soft down comforter. Bedside tables and reading lamps flank the bed, and the carpet is festooned with a deep shag throw rug, a delight to bare feet. Glass doors open to a covered porch that overlooks Teton Village. In the private bathroom, a faux-cowhide curtain screens the bath/shower combination.
The bottom floor of Granite Ridge Lodge 19 has three spacious bedrooms and a capacious laundry center. The first bedroom a cozy junior master and it has windows on three sides and French doors that open to the patio. In the bathroom, a soaking tub and a separate, walk-in glass shower.
The second guest bedroom is a cozy, beguiling spot, with a magnificent bed made of twisting, interlocked trunks and branches like something out of Middle Earth. Windows look to the terrace, and there is a small private bath.
The third and final bedroom on the bottom floor is a charmer, a six-bunk hideout complete with Xbox 360, upholstered loveseat, and pull-across curtains. There are plenty of games, for lounging in comfort, and a highly efficient, locker-room-style bathroom, with a double sink, and a shower room with a wooden door.
