Ok not great
Let me first say that we enjoyed our time at Bass house-however, it could have been much better. If you are looking for a quiet time this is not the place especially if you do not rent all three houses. They are very close together and we were lucky to have them to ourselves for 4 days then it went bad! A large group of people set to party showed up and our tranquility was rudely ended. The setting could be improved greatly with a few sections of strategically placed privacy fence and elimination of the hot tub (which stays pretty dirty). Also the houses are in desperate need of some TLC-and a VERY deep cleaning. I spent the first day cleaning the kitchen and bathroom!! I will say that Tom the owner tried to keep a cap on the party bunch but it was not very relaxing as you look right at them! Our only saving was we were in the end house and could ignore them-however the house next to us9not owned by this owner) has a security light that shines in the bedroom windows and their airconditioner is in need of repair and screams when on-a real problem I am sure in the summer. On the note of security lights some time spent making sure lights from one house does not shine on other houses quiet area would also be nice! So yes it would be great for a large gathering-no if you are looking for a quiet experience. Also keep in mind this sits on a side hill with MANY steps up and down to the bbq and seating area-not good for anyone with mobility issues.

to our guests. We opened our first vacation rental in the summer of 2004 and since then we have been blessed with the additon of other properties and many satisified guests.
It is our policy to communicate with our guests from their initial contact with us by either the internet or phone until they check-out. We make an effort to provide a personal touch for our
guests in both our service and the quality of the properties we offer.
The moment a guest checks into one of our properties we make shure that they have
our contact information and encourage them to contact us with any issues or concerns
24 / 7. We walk the grounds of each property every day to make shure everything
is in order. If we see a guest we make it a point to ask them how they are doing and if there is
anything we can do for them.
If we are aware of anything that needs correcting we do it.
In the case of the above review the guest stayed with us for 8 nights and the only issues that we were made aware of were the following.
1. The party noise, but only the next morning after the fact. We are on call 24/7 but we can not
respond if we do not kow about an issue.
2. Hot-tub: We clean all of our spas daily or as needed. It is springtime in Texas and
our Spa patio is located under a grove of ancient elms that are very messy when they
are blooming. We drained the tub 2 times during this time period .
I was personally on the property for most ot the days of this stay and had several conversations with these guests, but was never notified by them of any of the other issues mentioned in the above review. We apologize to these guests for their inconvience and want them to know that we
appreciate their business and that we have corrected all of the issues mentioned in their review.
