The large well proportioned sitting-room is tastefully decorated and overlooks a large patio area with a stunning view over the mountain, ideal for outdoor meals or reading a book in absolute silence. A paradise for children. Satellite wide screen TV, Wireless Broadband, iPod sound system, DVD with Surround Sound & a large collection of films to watch are all available for the guests' enjoyment. The villa has 5 good sized bedrooms a sitting-room, a dining room and a fully fitted kitchen. There is also a service area with an additional small room & WC. Facing the house, a wide lawn dominates the landscape and sets the scenery for cork and pine trees with the magnificent Serra da Arrábida in the background. At the end of a path surrounded by vines lies the swimming pool with its own patio area. This is the ideal place to enjoy nature, bird watching and for long walks in unspoiled surroundings, all in close proximity to spectacular beaches.

The villa, set in 5 acres farm, is located in the Parque Nacional da Serra da Arrábida, 5 Km away from beautiful beaches and 5 Km away from Vila Nogueira de Azeitão – a small historic town surrounded by the national park and well known for it’s vineyards and wine cellars open to the public. Arrabida beach is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal, and boasts a natural bay with calm waters, ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The area is also famous for its food so it won’t be difficult to find high quality well priced local restaurants as well as top quality ones. Taste the delights of the region from the traditional cheese, deemed to be one of the best in the country, to the Torta de Azeitão, a much sought after local pastry, and the famous Moscatel wine, a sweet wine served as an aperitif.   • A 750 € refundable security deposit is requested, because the house is furnished to such a high standard; this will be refunded within 1 week of departure.

Playing golf: For details about golf, please ask us for the website address - the site offers several choices. Recommended are the Quinta do Peru just 10 Kms from the villa, Tróia (20 kms and a ferry away) a difficult course but one of the most beautiful in Portugal, and Riba Golf (40 Kms away).

Boat rental: The magnificent bay of Portinho de Arrabida, with its clear quiet waters, is ideal for water sports; boat rental can be arranged on request

Scuba diving: Some of the best scuba diving in Portugal can be done from Portinho de Arrabida, a few kms away. There is a local scuba diving centre where wonderful dives can be organized.

Tranquil house with pool in protected Cascais.

Our family had a wonderful time in this area outside Lisboa.
It is placed in a quiet area, with nice nature and wine yards.
Very close to beutiful Sesimra and other small nice places along the coast to Setubal, with nice restarants.
The House was perfect for large famelies with children.
The swimming pool and garden around the house was a perfect playground for the children, and adults.
It could be a bit difficult to find, but the house owner is just a phone call away to help you find the house. The owner gave very good service.
You need a car to be able to drive around.
Lisboa is not far away, and we had several days seeing the nice city.
The good thing by staying outside Lisboa centre, is that you will be able to see both the countryside and the city.

We will recommend this house to friends and colleagues.

Nous avons passé un séjour de rêve dans cette maison.
L'endroit est magnifique et très calme.
Belle piscine très agréable.
Nous avons apprécié l'immense terrasse ombragée avec ses nombreux fauteuils, tables et chaises, les enfants ont beaucoup joué dans le très grand jardin (parc)
La cuisine était équipée de tout l'électroménager possible.
La maison était pleine de charme.
(occupation 2 couples et trois enfants)
