Positioned in 850sq/mtrs of landscaped gardens the villa was newly finished in 2003, built on a hillside, south facing on a flat plot, and situated in one of the best positions overlooking Jalon. There is a balcony with dining furniture, accessed directly from the lounge, with wonderful views over the pool, patio and gardens, and the mountains beyond. There are steps down to the pool which is surrounded by 70sq/mtrs of patio area where you will find plenty of room to relax and sunbathe under the Mediterranean sun. The house is built on an end plot with no passing traffic so parking is no problem. Inside the spacious lounge/diner is a 28' TV with English channels, a DVD and CD player. The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, 4 hobs, hood, fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, serving hatch to dining area. The master bedroom has a king size bed and an en suite shower room. 2 other bedrooms have 1 double bed in one and two singles in the other, and share a bathroom.

The villa is perfectly situated in a 'get away from it all' situation on a flat plot on a hillside overlooking the tranquil Jalon valley, Jalon itself and the Bernia mountain range beyond, yet close enough to visit the hustle and bustle of the seaside resorts of, from the north, Denia, Javea, Moraira, Calpe, Altea, Albir, and of course Benidorm and all it's attractions. The closest beach resort is Moraira, about half an hour away with Calpe a close second. Alicante airport is just over an hour away by car, and Valencia airport would take a little longer from the opposite direction. The whole area of the Jalon valley is well known for it's abundance of good and reasonably priced restaurants, most of them being in the next village of Alcalali. The villa overlooks vineyards, olive, orange and lemon groves and fields of almond trees, and at certain times of the year the air is full of the aromas of the various blossoms. The 'Bernia' range is an absolute walkers and ramblers paradise.

Notes: As well as 8 garden chairs there are tables, umbrellas, and 6 sun loungers. The villa itself is accessible by wheelchair but the pool and terracing is not and is only accessible by 15 steps, of which there are three sets, one at each side of the villa and one from the balcony.

Jalon: In Jalon itself there is everything you need for everyday living, a recent addition of a superb new supermarket, 'Mas y Mas', butchers, bakers, banks, restaurants, small bars, gift shops, newsagents, and the main attractions being the bodegas where you can sample the local wines. In September you can witness the harvesting of the grapes and the convoys of all types of transportation carrying the pickings to the co-operative at the Alcalali end of the village. You can see it from the balcony! Every Saturday morning a 'rastro' is held in the car park, stretching all along the river bank. All sorts of wares are sold, and well worth a Saturday morning browse! The fresh fruit and veg. market is held in and around the village square each Tuesday morning.

Golf: Golf plays an important part in the area, you will find first class courses at Sierra de Altea, Golf Ifach de Benissa, Oliva Nova Golf, Golf Club la Sella near Denia, Club de Golf Don Cayo in Altea Hills and Golf Javea. The mild Costa Blanca weather makes it possible to play all year round.
