This beautiful detached villa has been recently refurbished and furnished to a high specification throughout. The kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, lounge, large heated pool, terrace and furniture are all new. The kitchen includes oven/hob, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and is fully equipped. The comfortable lounge/diner has a large L-shaped sofa, matching dining table and chairs, and TV and DVD player. Within walking distance is a local DVD shop with many films on offer. All bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom and single bedroom both have en-suite bathrooms. There are beautiful views of the ocean (and sunset) from the terrace/pool area and lounge/diner. (If you are holidaying in Tenerife during the winter we strongly recommend that you choose a villa with a heated pool since the temperature in the pool will drop in that season.) Villa 8 is probably one of the best in the area for rental, so an early booking is recommended.

Sueño Azul is in a quiet residential area of southern resort of Callao Salvaje. Statistically Callao Salvaje has more hours of sunlight per day than any other areas in Tenerife. The villa is a 5-10 minute walk to the main area of hotels, bars, banks, restaurants, pharmacy, doctors, supermarkets etc. and 10 minutes away from the nearest beach. The beach itself is half sand half pebble with many rocks and a jetty that is ideal for fishing, snorkelling etc. The resort is 10 minute drive from the busy Las Americas and Los Cristianos areas. Taxis and buses are easily available for those wishing to venture out. Adeje Golf course complex is only a 10 minute drive away. There is a nearby tennis club. Ideal for families.

On our arrival we noticed that the villa and pool area had not been cleaned thoroughly.
We had to ask for help as the shower was blocked and the shower door broken.
There is a lack of crockery, what is there was chipped and needed washing.
The villa and pool is a lovely facility, shame about the mouse that joined us for our stay too!
Owner's Response: A refund was provided for the issues identified and have been fixed. These items were caused by the local managing agent, and I have since changed the agent. I have been assured that there are no signs of rodent or other pest infestations by pest controllers.

Schönes Ferienhaus mit Meerblick und großem Pool

Das Haus liegt (fast) unmittelbar an der Steilküste in zweiter Reihe, so dass man einen wunderbaren Blick auf das Meer und Gomera hat. Die gesamte Anlage ist gepflegt und ruhig und Geschäfte, Restaurants und eine gute französische Bäckerei sind in Laufweite.
Das Haus ist für bis zu 5 Personen ausreichend (wenn auch nicht üppig) dimensioniert und der beheizte Pool ist ein großer Pluspunkt. Die Ausstattung ist mit Gartentisch, Stühlen und Liegen, ausreichend Badetüchern sowie einem Grill gut, nur die Küche könnte besser bestückt sein. So ist es schon seltsam, dass eine Kaffeemaschine (!) fehlt.
Trotzdem ist das Haus empfehlenswert, ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen!

Lovely, spacious, private villa

We spent two weeks at Villa 8 over Christmas and New Year and had a fantastic time! In fact, we love the villa and location so much that we are going back !
The villa is situated in a quiet, residential area so is very peaceful. There are great views over the sea from the pool area and the sunsets are superb. The villa itself is well equipped (although having small children, a microwave would be a welcome addition). It's really spacious and very clean. The outside area is very private and to have your own heated pool is a great luxury !
Within walking distance (about 5 minutes or so) there is a good range of restaurants (including Chinese, Italian, English and local cuisine) and bars. There's also quite a few well-stocked supermarkets (including Netto), gift shops and a pharmacy near by. We had a small child with us and could readily buy baby food, nappies etc. There is also a larger supermarket about 5-10 minutes drive away which has a larger range of fresh goods.
The only negative I can think of is the local beach. It's hard to get to with small children, was quite rocky and characteristic of Tenerife, the sand is black and coarse.
But overall this is a lovely, clean, spacious villa and if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday - it is ideal !

nice clean adequate villa

nice clean villa, adequate cooking facilities for basic cooking only. pool lovely and a real bonus. a good few minutes walk to where you can park a car, so have to carry luggage on arrival. basic shops a 5 min walk away. good big supermarket about 5 mins away by car. overall we had a good holiday.
