With a spacious layout comprising 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, and square footage totaling more than 1600, you will truly feel like you are on vacation as you set foot into the townhome which has been professionally decorated and furnished in a style that will delight your senses with its warm, tropical Hawaiian ambiance. With room to sleep 4 in beds, and one on the couch, you will find the right amount of space, whether traveling as one or two couples, or a whole family.
We have been visiting the Big Island for over 10 years as renters and have learned over the years what truly makes a location a home away from home.
This two bedroom home is fully furnished with a king size bed in the master (california king) with a private ensuite bath. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with its own private bath as well. The large dining room table will comfortably accommodate 6 people and the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glassware, and all that you would need for the nights you choose to dine in. The living room room features a comfortable sectional with TV and an expanded cable package and DVR so you don’t have to miss any of your favorite shows while out enjoying the island. There are also TVs in each of the bedrooms.
The main floor lanai, equipped with top of the line Viking outdoor kitchen/BBQ is perfect for grilling the fresh catch of the day or fresh vegetables from the market. The upstairs private lanai off the Master is a great place for watching sunsets or enjoying your morning Kona coffee. The view is spectacular with glimpses of the ocean and majestic views of Kohala Mountain.
The recreation center at Kulalani is arguably the best on the coast, and boasts 2.5 acres of lushly landscaped lawns around two pools, jacuzzi spas, workout facility, and BBQ pavilion. While you could spend the whole day there, you'll certainly want to get out to see the Mauna Lani Beach club as well, where you'll have full access to the private parking lot for residents and their guests. The beach there is one of the best for snorkeling, while the adjacent ancient fish ponds are a great place to explore and walk around. You will find the Beach Club to be beautiful and fun. To help with your enjoyment, we have provided beach chairs, boogie boards, a beach umbrella, a cooler, and two cruiser bikes.

We live on the West Coast, and try to make it to the Big Island as often as we can, with the intention to someday make it our permanent home. We are very active outdoors people, and love the golf and fitness opportunities that a climate like Hawaii's has to offer!

Kulalani has the perfect blend of privacy and connectedness that we were looking for when we purchased our Hawaii home. The units are designed in such as way that you don't feel your neighbors crowding in on you like with some condos, and yet it is easy to get to know your neighbors. There is a good mix of full time residents, part time residents, and vacationers here, so there are always new people to meet. The rec center at Kulalani is one of the best, if not the best, in the resort, and it's great to spend time there after a day of golf or kayaking.
One of the great things about this unit and the location is that there is an actual ocean view from the upper lanai, which some homes twice as valuable in the area can't say. Mauna Lani is such a relatively flat resort, so finding the areas where you can get ocean views are becoming increasingly rare, and we were fortunate to have gotten one!
I just want to say my family and I had a wonderful vacation. The condo is very nice and professionally decorated. The grounds are very well kept and the pool area is grand. We had everything we needed in the condo and all the stuff for the beach as well. We will definitely be back. We love Hawaii and the Big Island and look forward to our return.
