Welcome from the Nagata ohana to yours! Thank you for taking the time to consider our Island home for your next Hawaiian vacation!

Our 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom condo at Kulalani has all the comforts of home, in a central location overlooking the spectacular Rec Center that is the best in Mauna Lani! With a lap pool, free form lagoon style pool, kiddie wading pool, and two spa jacuzzis, the Rec Center is an oasis in and of itself, and with the workout gym, bbq gathering pavilion and huge grassy lawn, you'll find everything you need here for a great family time.

Our home is set up to sleep 4 people in the two bedrooms, with an additional sleeping area for 2 in the pullout sofa downstairs. With two bathrooms in the bedrooms and an additional half bath located downstairs, you'll have plenty of space for the family to bathe after a long hard day at the beach, and get ready to go out to dinner at one of the nice restaurants that the Shops at Mauna Lani offers.

Of course, with a gourmet kitchen set up with everything you would need to cook for the whole family, you might find yourselves staying in to eat most days, to get the most out of your Hawaiian vacation. Prepare some Spam musubis to take with you to the beach, or perhaps bentos (lunch boxes) with freshly caught local fish, and you'll be all set to head out for an adventurous day!

About Kai Ohuchi

Robb grew up on the Big Island of Hawaii and always knew Hawaii would be HOME. His wife Kelly is from Texas and she immediately fell in love with the Big Island. Their young family consider Hawaii their second home and try to make it back as often as they can.

We chose Kulalani because of the developers reputation for quality and luxury. Another reason was the fantastic pool and rec center that our unit overlooks, which is a great place to hang out all day!

We are located in a quiet gated community overlooking the pool, facing the ocean. we are ideally located between the Mauna Lani Resort and the Fairmont Orchid Hotel, and a short walk to the Shops at Mauna Lani. In addition to one of the most diverse vacation destinations on earth (where else can you experience snow, ocean, desert, and rainforest all in one day), this property provides access to a private beach, world class golf courses, fine dining, and island entertainment all on the Mauna Lani Resort property.

Best Stay in Hawaii in 6 Years!

Perfect location in general (we have been to Hawaii 6 times and the Mauna Lani area is the only place to stay!). We have stayed in this condo complex before and really loved the close proximity to the two pools, gym, hot tubs and rec center (which far surpass other condo's in the area) as well as the nicest beach on the entire island which is private to those staying in the Mauna Lani. We also appreciated how clean and uncluttered this property was. Everything we needed was provided (with the exception of rather limited cooking utensils). More importantly the bed in the master room was was ultra comfortable! The second bedroom has two twin beds but this remained unused. Our visit to this property was for one month and the booking agent was kind, helpful, easy to work with and responded in a timely manner (we basically booked with him because he was so nice even though we were considering other options!). We have never written a review on Vbro but felt everything was so fantastic that it deserved a glowing recommendation! While we're at it...the Mauna Lani Sports Club has awesome yoga and spinning classes ($15 per session or less for package of 10 classes) and the Mauna Lani Resort/ Hotel has the best restaurant right on the beach, called the Canoe House, if you are celebrating a special night out.
