Beautifully renovated, 124 year old condominium, located in Louisville's Butchertown neighborhood and NULU district. Enjoy some of Louisville's best restaurants and locally owned boutiques within a 4 block walk. Downtown Louisville and the YUM! Center is just 1 mile away and Churchill Downs is a quick 15 minute drive away.

This 1,050 square foot condo has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, an eat-in, fully equipped kitchen, living room and outside deck. Sleeps 2 people. There is off street parking behind the building. Non-smoking property. No pets.

$175/night except Derby Week (April 27 - May 4) which is $500/night (3 nights minimum).

I'm a lifelong Louisville resident. I recently purchased and moved in to the condo upstairs from this unit. I work in the banking industry and also dabble in the music business.

Why Doug Weede chose Louisville

I was looking to downsize my living space and was attracted to this area because the NULU business district (2 blocks away) has many locally owned restaurants, boutiques, attractions, coffee shops, etc. The area has a lot of energy.

What makes this condo unique

The stained glass window in the lower unit grabbed my attention the first time I drove up to the property. During the renovation we used as much of the original structure and other materials as possible in order to protect the historical value.

Downtown Louisville - Walking distance to everything

The owner has completely restored this condo and it is spectacular. Located in a downtown neighborhood just minutes walking to several local shops and restaurants, we strolled all over downtown Louisville on our weekend stay. You will have no need for a car. There is even a tiny mini-mart on the corner of the street if you need to stock the refrigerator (which you probably won't need unless you plan to stay for a week or more). The owner has pre-stocked the refrigerator with an assortment of beverages, and provides soap, shampoo, towels. There is a washer/dryer available as well. He was extremely gracious and readily available if ever needed. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Unique Condo Downtown Louisville

I was very pleased with the Condo. I was so excited when I walked in, it was decorated and renovated just as I'd imagined in an old house. It's very unique and private, perfect dream home for a single person and a great getaway pad for a couple. It's local and near many attractions. I wish we could have stayed longer.

My wife and I have been using VRBO for years and this is one of the best units we've stayed at. Doug has welcome amenities that nobody else has. He loves the city and is a great help in directing you to what you're looking for. The unit is absolutely beautiful and large. It's been completely redone and done well. It's in a neighborhood that is gentrifying and within a short drive to the other cool neighborhoods in town. A great hub to check out an up and coming Louisville.

Great Condo in a good location

Beautiful condo. Perfect for a couple spending a few days in Louisville. The location is very close to downtown and close to the Highlands neighborhood as well. Butchertown is a good place to stay with interesting bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance of the condo. Nice coffee house "Please & Thank You" is about 3 blocks away and worth a visit.

We will definitely stay here again if/when we go back to Louisville.

Excellent experience with condo and owner

We had a great experience here. The condo is nicely put together and has plenty of room. The owner was very welcoming and easy to get in touch with. The surrounding neighborhood is very nice, with plenty of restaurants, shops, etc. within walking distance. We would stay here again if heading through Louisville.
