Tulum Condo Rental Photos and Description

This new cozy condo has 2 bedrooms, is fully furnished and comfortable for 5 people with pool, palapa and children's playground in the common area and a private palapa out your back door.

It is located on the south edge of Tulum in a gated community, away from the noise of the town center. The condo is close to town with a variety of shopping options and many restaurants to choose from. There is a good variety of Mexican and international dining options in Tulum.

The beach is only a short drive away (about 10 minutes). It offers the most wonderful silky sand, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing and more. Our home is diver friendly.

Description of the house and common area:

Main Floor

Living room, dining room, kitchen, ½ bathroom and small extra room with an inflatable single mattress.

Upstairs:

Master bedroom with queen size bed, bathroom and balcony.

Second bedroom with queen size bed, and hallway bathroom.

There is an inflatable mattress available for additional guest which can be set up in a extra room on the main floor.

Back Patio:

Private palapa, table and stools made by a Mayan friend, hammock chair, clothes washer, clothes line and native plantings. Two ceiling fans.

Car Parking:

Parking is available in front of the house inside the gated community.

Common Area:

Common area with pool, palapa and children playground.

The swimming pool has a shallow end for children to play.

Additional description:

Bedrooms and living area are equipped with air conditioners and ceiling fans.

Linens, towels, beach towels and bath soaps provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped including full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave and small appliances.

Entertainment system consists of TV, BLU-RAY/DVD player, DVDs, WIFI internet, and satellite TV. There is a second TV in the master bedroom.

Property management and other services:

The house is managed by John Killeen, a native Canadian who speaks English and Spanish and lives in the same community. He will be glad to assist you during your stay in Tulum.

A licensed physiotherapist, Belen, lives directly across the street and she offers deep tissue and Swedish massage by appointment.

We bought our condo after several trips to the Yucatan. We like getting away from the cold winters in the US and enjoy the warmth and beauty of Tulum.

This area of the Yucatan is very historic from the Mayan Ruins to the Sian Ka'an biosphere. There are many cenotes in the area where you can enjoy swimming in the underground rivers. The location of the condo is private and quiet, away from the city sounds.

San Francisco: Mid Sized Grocery Store offering fresh produce and national products. Located in Tulum at the intersection of Highway 307 & Coba Road. Open Daily, 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Credit Cards Accepted.

Super Chedraui: New, and well stocked grocery store located on the north side of the road which leads from the Highway 307 to Tulum beach. This is the largest store in Tulum and includes a bakery and deli selection. Open Daily, 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Credit Cards Accepted.

Bodega Aurera: Part of the Sam's Club chain although membership not required. Located on the left hand side of the road leading from Tulum to Coba. Good selection. Warehouse style store. Open Daily, 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Credit Cards Accepted. Location: On the Coba Road 500 meters from San Francisco Supermarket

ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT!!

We rented this Condo for the entire month of Feb 2014. We are pleased to say that we could not have been any happier!! Although it is listed as a condo to us it is a townhouse. The place was much bigger than we were expecting. It was VERY clean and up to date. We really enjoyed the peace a quiet we had at this place. The center of town is minutes away so to us it gives you the best of both worlds. Jump in the car drive minutes and you have everything you could want or need food wise, gift wise, restaurant wise and of course the AMAZING beach!! It was so nice having everything we would have at home as well. The place has full size appliances, air conditioning everywhere, tv (on satellite so many English channels), internet etc. Another AMAZING feature of the place is a MASSIVE palapa built in the back yard. Sitting inside of it was like being in paradise. It kept things very cool and pleasant outside and just the feel of being out there laying in a hammock or kicked back in a comfy chair with the nice breeze flowing and looking at the trees, plants flowers etc was amazing. On a couple of occasions we were visited by wild parrots. It was amazing to see them!! We found Mary and Darvin to be very helpful in answering any questions we had prior to going down to Mexico for the month. She was able to help us with so may questions we had. The beds in this place were amazing as the ONLY thing my wife and i have never enjoyed about going to Mexico are the hard as rock beds it appears all resorts have : ) Well this place has pillow top mattresses that were better than the ones we have back here at home!! It was also great to have 2 televisions. Again this place exceeded all of our expectations. Also something to keep in mind is that this place is managed by a fellow that lives in the complex named John Killeen. He is a wealth of knowledge on EVERYTHING and helped us many many times with questions we had about where to buy this or that or what places to eat at or what things to go see etc. Not only that but he can help anyone that is looking to buy a place in Tulum as he is a very knowledgeable Realtor. Him being there and the fact that he has lived there for many years is VERY helpful as he knows the ins and outs about everything. The owner of this place has obviously put a LOT of time and effort into ensuring that their guests have a GREAT time. We HIGHLY Recommend this place and will be going back for sure next year!!
