A nice little place for a couple. My wife and I spent several days there over New Years and had a great time. Quadra is always fun, but cool in the winter, so we looked for a cozy place that we could enjoy spending some time at. April Point didn't disappoint. The view from the dining room table was incredible. Tides always changing, seals, we even saw a pod of orcas!
A wonderful one week retreat. The views are spectacular, the suite is super comfortable with all amnesties. The best part is watching the sunset from the terrace! Great hikes every day.
We had a lovely stay. Deer wandered through the yard, we could watch seals play from our window, sweet little raccoons nested in the tree, dolphins swam by, not to mention the cruise ships and barges drifting though. It was phenomenal. Very comfortable suite, very well appointed, clean, and private. Sherry is wonderful - she made sure we had freshly ground locally roasted coffee and little snacks when we arrived - she's a sweetheart. And Quadra Island is fantastic! A little slice of paradise.
Quadra Island offers a fantastic calendar of events - During the summers on Saturday mornings the weekly Quadra Island Farmers' Market takes place with arts, crafts, flowers, great food and sometimes kittens available. Upcoming local events include:
