If you are debating whether to rent this unit or stay in a hotel room at the Ritz Carlton don't.
We stayed here in November and were very impressed with the unit, which was renovated literally the day before we came in. For less than what we would have paid for a standard hotel room at the RC we got a one bedroom apartment with a washer/dryer, great for washing the kids clothes and which allowed us not to pack so much. Check-in was just like checking in to the hotel, we got a room key from the front desk and they took our cc for room charges, and we could order room service or food from the restaurants and bill it to our room. There were plenty of towels, toilet paper, etc, in the bathroom and the kitchen was fully stocked with silverware, glassware, pots, pans, etc. There were also beach toys for the kids which was really nice because we didn't need to go out and buy any. The owner is very responsive and a pleasure to work with. We would stay here again if we return to KB, and I recommended the unit to my friends who live in Miami for their out of town guests.
The hotel itself is very nice, beautiful family pool and separate adult pool. The restaurants are of course very expensive but that's not unusual given that it's the Ritz. Lots of great and more reasonable dining options very close by, and most places deliver.
