Get a restful nights sleep in this rooms Four-Poster Queen Sized bed. Step out the French doors and onto the small balcony for a view over the courtyard and back garden. Full en suite bathroom with bathtub & shower combo. Flat screen TV & Free Wireless Internet are included, as is daily full breakfast.

Our location cannot be beat! Walk just 1 block to get to Stanley Park and 1 block to get to English Bay (Water, Beach and the Sea Wall). Robson Street, Davie Street & Denman Street are all just a short walk away (restaurants, shopping, coffee shops).

For those that want to be outdoors, but away from the public for some down time, relax in our large, comfortable back Courtyard.

Parking is complimentary, though we have a limited number of spaces available, so please inquire prior to booking if you do require a parking space.

One of the unique benefits of staying at a B&B is breakfast service, allowing you to save the time of finding a breakfast spot and the money of paying for breakfast each morning while starting your day off with a full stomach. We are well known for our breakfasts, which are included in your room rate. Breakfasts are full, hot breakfasts and our host/cook can accommodate special dietary needs (vegetarian, gluten free). Please make sure to note any special dietary needs or food allergies at the time of booking.

The room itself is located in the English Bay Inn B&B. We have 5 Rooms in total, plus a 6th room which is a full apartment with 2 Queen Beds & a full kitchen.

If you have never stayed at a B&B before, the English Bay Inn is a great place to start. Private rooms with full en suite baths, great breakfasts and great location! Our off season rates make this a great value and may just change the way you choose to travel in the future!

Shared areas within the Inn are the Living Room, The Dining Room and the outdoor spaces, all great places to meet other travelers during your stay.

The English bay Inn has been serving travellers as a Bed & Breakfast style in for almost 20 years. We have an exceptional reputation and strive to give guests the best possible experience.

Your host will be Alberto. Alberto, originally from Southern Mexico, has lived in Vancouver for 20 years. He has previously worked as a chef and in the banking industry. He loves to cook and takes pride in his daily breakfast service at the Inn.

My wife and I chose English Bay Inn because of its proximity to Stanley Park (world's best park in one survey) and to Denman Street with all of its great ethnic restaurants. English Bay Inn provides great value in a high-priced city. The place was spotless, comfortable, and in a quiet neighborhood; the breakfasts were very good; and the staff were attentive to our needs. Vancouver is our favorite city on the west coast of north America. We will attempt to book with English Bay Inn on our next visit.

Charming hotel great service

The English Bay Inn (not to be confused with the English Bay Hotel) is a charming bed and breakfast hotel located near to Stanley Park and English Bay. Easy walk to the downtown shopping areas.

Very convenient for wide range of good restaurants, huge variety of ethnic and Canadian places to eat.

The rooms are not huge, but have charm including things like four poster beds. There is a nice outdoor area to sit.

The service was great, checkin was normally 4pm but when they heard we were flying in at lunchtime they suggested early checkin which was really useful.

Breakfast was good, the service at breakfast was very friendly Alberto cooked a very tasty omelette and seemed very aware of the guests food preferences and allergies so tailored things to suit. The breakfast experience was interesting as it was served in the dining room with all the guests (7 when we were there) sharing a table which made for good conversation. There was also a separate table for two in an alcove if you are on a romantic couple trip or not a morning person.

Tranquility

Just spent 9 days in this idyllic and tranquil log cabin- the views are stunning from the deck and hot tub! The accomodation is spacious and very comfortable.
Ed and Georgina are brilliant hosts and the boat trip was fabulous- beautiful scenery and great fun fishing and catching too!
The holiday just flew by far too quickly and we were very sad to leave. Thanks for making us feel so at home.

We stayed for a week and English Bay Inn felt like home but with better breakfasts.
An excellent place to stay and an ideal base to see most of downtown Vancouver from.
Jacy made booking easy and Alberto was a very helpful host and cooked excellent breakfasts. We especially loved the fruit plates and the good coffee but the omelettes, quiches and other hot food was beautifully cooked and presented too.
(We also thoroughly enjoyed the discussions we had with the other guests at breakfast.)
Being able to sit outside on the patio on comfortable furniture on sunny days was a bonus we made full use of.
This area is an easy walking distance to downtown, very close to Stanley park, the waterfront and lots of restaurants on Denman Street. There are good bus services to other parts of the city and little False Creek ferries were within walking distance too.

Staying West of Denman is an ideal spot for visitors to Vancouver as it allows you all of the conveniences of being downtown while providing a quiet, peaceful place to unwind when you head home after a long day of touring the city.

Head 1 block West for English Bay and The Seawall. Bask in the sun at English Bay Beach, Enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of a tree, take in a beautiful sunset over the water, or take a walk, run, bike ride, or roller blade around the 22km Seawall.

Head 1 block to the North and step out of the city and directly into world famous Stanley Park to explore some of the 400 hectares of West Coast Natural Rainforest. Walk, jog or bike any of the several kilometers of trails that wind through the park, take in a quick round of golf at the 18 hole, 3 par Stanley Park Pitch and Putt Golf Course, take a swim at the outdoor 2nd Beach pool, check out the local marine life at Vancouver Aquarium, or explore the beaches, historical points of interest, exceptional views over the water from several different vantage points and much much more. A day in Stanley Park makes it very easy to forget you are in the downtown of a major West Coast city!

3 blocks to the South will bring you to Denman Street, which connects English Bay to Coal Harbour. Denman Street has plenty of great restaurants and shops, as well as a large community rec centre for those that need access to a gym during their stay.

From Denman, walk to Robson Street (world class shopping and restaurants), Davie Street (home base for Vancouver's Gay and Lesbian community), Yaletown (trendy area of mostly converted heritage buildings - some of the cities best shops and restaurants are in this area) and Granville Street (Vancouver's primary entertainment district).

Other attractions within walking distance of the Inn include Granville Island, Gastown (though this is a bit of a longer walk - some may prefer to take a taxi when visiting Gastown), Coal Harbour & Ferries to the North Shore.
