This room has been tastefully decorated with turn of the century furniture, fixtures, and moldings, including a Queen Sized Louis Phillipe Sleigh bed. Get extra light and fresh air through the gorgeous stained glass French Doors. Full bathroom with shower. Flat screen cable TV and Free Wireless Internet are included, as is daily full breakfast.

Our location cannot be beat! Walk just 1 block to get to Stanley Park and 1 block to get to English Bay (Water, Beach and the Sea Wall). Robson Street, Davie Street & Denman Street are all just a short walk away (restaurants, shopping, coffee shops).

For those that want to be outdoors, but away from the public for some down time, relax in our large, comfortable back Courtyard.

Parking is complimentary, though we have a limited number of spaces available, so please inquire prior to booking if you do require a parking space.

One of the unique benefits of staying at a B&B is breakfast service, allowing you to save the time of finding a breakfast spot and the money of paying for breakfast each morning while starting your day off with a full stomach. We are well known for our breakfasts, which are included in your room rate. Breakfasts are full, hot breakfasts and our host/cook can accommodate special dietary needs (vegetarian, gluten free). Please make sure to note any special dietary needs or food allergies at the time of booking.

The room itself is located in the English Bay Inn B&B. We have 5 Rooms in total, plus a 6th room which is a full apartment with 2 Queen Beds & a full kitchen.

If you have never stayed at a B&B before, the English Bay Inn is a great place to start. Private rooms with full en suite baths, great breakfasts and great location! Our off season rates make this a great value and may just change the way you choose to travel in the future!

Shared areas within the Inn are the Living Room, The Dining Room and the outdoor spaces, all great places to meet other travelers during your stay.

Excellent B&B near Stanley Park

We had a great time staying at the English Bay Inn. Alberto was a great host who cooks amazing breakfasts. The rooms were very comfortable and it was easy to do self check-in since we were running later than anticipated. The inn is located right by Stanley Park and is only a short way from Gastown and other downtown sites in Vancouver.

A gem in the city

We were not going to write a review because we don't want this place to become too popular and unavailable. �� This little Inn in downtown Vancouver was indeed a hidden gem, it is perfectly situated for everything, walking, dining, ocean, stanley park, parking spot too! It is remarkably very quiet for being in the city. We found for what we got was well worth the rate. Thank you Alberto for your deliciously filling breakfasts and your hospitality!

Staying West of Denman is an ideal spot for visitors to Vancouver as it allows you all of the conveniences of being downtown while providing a quiet, peaceful place to unwind when you head home after a long day of touring the city.

Head 1 block West for English Bay and The Seawall. Bask in the sun at English Bay Beach, Enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of a tree, take in a beautiful sunset over the water, or take a walk, run, bike ride, or roller blade around the 22km Seawall.

Head 1 block to the North and step out of the city and directly into world famous Stanley Park to explore some of the 400 hectares of West Coast Natural Rainforest. Walk, jog or bike any of the several kilometers of trails that wind through the park, take in a quick round of golf at the 18 hole, 3 par Stanley Park Pitch and Putt Golf Course, take a swim at the outdoor 2nd Beach pool, check out the local marine life at Vancouver Aquarium, or explore the beaches, historical points of interest, exceptional views over the water from several different vantage points and much much more. A day in Stanley Park makes it very easy to forget you are in the downtown of a major West Coast city!

3 blocks to the South will bring you to Denman Street, which connects English Bay to Coal Harbour. Denman Street has plenty of great restaurants and shops, as well as a large community rec centre for those that need access to a gym during their stay.

From Denman, walk to Robson Street (world class shopping and restaurants), Davie Street (home base for Vancouver's Gay and Lesbian community), Yaletown (trendy area of mostly converted heritage buildings - some of the cities best shops and restaurants are in this area) and Granville Street (Vancouver's primary entertainment district).

Other attractions within walking distance of the Inn include Granville Island, Gastown (though this is a bit of a longer walk - some may prefer to take a taxi when visiting Gastown), Coal Harbour & Ferries to the North Shore.
