The English Bay Inn has 6 Rooms in total, the Cozy Romantic room being Room 2. There is a separate ad for each of the suites we have available, so if you are interested in other suites that we have, please see the individual ad for each for pictures, descriptions, rates and availability. This room has been tastefully decorated with turn of the century furniture, fixtures, and moldings, including a Queen Sized Louis Phillipe Sleigh bed. Get extra light and fresh air through the gorgeous stained glass French Doors. Full bathroom with shower. Flat screen cable TV and Free Wireless Internet are included.

Complimentary toiletries and 2 complimentary bathrobes for use during your stay.

3 course breakfast included daily (consists of coffee, tea or juice, seasonal fresh fruit, fresh baked pastries and a hot entree which varies from day to day - please ensure to let us know of any food allergies or dietary needs after confirming your booking and prior to arrival).

Please note that there is an option to book this room without breakfast service. Please inquire for a No Breakfast Service rate when booking.

About Alberto & Jacy

The English bay Inn has been serving travellers as a Bed & Breakfast style in for almost 20 years.years. We have an exceptional reputation and strive to give guests the best possible experience.

The Inn was closed during the winter of 2013, and we have hired on a new host and reservations manager and have now started accepting booking for the Spring, Summer and Winter of 2014.

Your host will be Alberto. Alberto, originally from Southern Mexico, has lived in Vancouver for 20 years. He has previously worked as a chef and in the banking industry. He loves to cook and takes pride in his daily breakfast service at the Inn

What makes this house unique

Staying West of Denman is an ideal spot for visitors to Vancouver as it allows you all of the conveniences of being downtown while providing a quiet, peaceful place to unwind when you head home after a long day of touring the city.

Head 1 block West for English Bay and The Seawall. Bask in the sun at English Bay Beach, Enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of a tree, take in a beautiful sunset over the water, or take a walk, run, bike ride, or roller blade around the 22km Seawall.

Head 1 block to the North and step out of the city and directly into world famous Stanley Park to explore some of the 400 hectares of West Coast Natural Rainforest. Walk, jog or bike any of the several kilometers of trails that wind through the park, take in a quick round of golf at the 18 hole, 3 par Stanley Park Pitch and Putt Golf Course, take a swim at the outdoor 2nd Beach pool, check out the local marine life at Vancouver Aquarium, or explore the beaches, historical points of interest, exceptional views over the water from several different vantage points and much much more. A day in Stanley Park makes it very easy to forget you are in the downtown of a major West Coast city!

3 blocks to the South will bring you to Denman Street, which connects English Bay to Coal Harbour. Denman Street has plenty of great restaurants and shops, as well as a large community rec centre for those that need access to a gym during their stay.

From Denman, walk to Robson Street (world class shopping and restaurants), Davie Street (home base for Vancouver's Gay and Lesbian community), Yaletown (trendy area of mostly converted heritage buildings - some of the cities best shops and restaurants are in this area) and Granville Street (Vancouver's primary entertainment district).

Other attractions within walking distance of the Inn include Granville Island, Gastown (though this is a bit of a longer walk - some may prefer to take a taxi when visiting Gastown), Coal Harbour & Ferries to the North Shore.

Tax Rate 16.5%
Notes HOTEL TAX - As we are an Inn, we do have to charge Hotel Tax, which is 16.5% in BC. This amount will be added to the total on the reservation.

Inn Guests are not permitted to bring any guests not a part of the reservation onto the Inn property without approval from the host.

A common respect for other Inn guests is required, and noise must be kept to a minimum during the evening hours.
