1 bedroom apartment, just a 1 block walk to English Bay and a 1 block walk to Stanley Park.

2 Queen Beds, in separate rooms so ideal for families with children.

The back bedroom is a bright and cheerful space, with 1 Queen Bed, a Flat Screen TV and 2 large windows that both open fully out to the courtyard and garden.

The main room is a large room, with a Queen sized bed, lounge space with sofa and a Flat Screen TV. 2 stained glass windows offer plenty of charm to this room.

The kitchen has an over sink window, and includes a dishwasher, microwave, fridge and stove along with all of the cookware and dinnerware.

There is a full bathroom with bathtub/shower combo.

Parking is available at no charge, however, if you do require parking please inquire as to if one is available prior to booking. We have a total of 3 parking spots available and there are 6 rooms available in the home, so free parking is available on a first come first serve basis.

As this apartment does have a full kitchen, please note that it does not include a breakfast service like the rooms that are available in the Inn upstairs.

This suite is on the lower level of the house, and is a fully self contained apartment. There are 5 other b&b style rooms on the main and upper levels of the house. The other rooms do include breakfast service, and each has its own ensuite bath, so please inquire if you would like further info on the other rooms available. You can also visit our website at the link associated with this ad for further pictures and information on other rooms.

Guests of this Apartment are welcome to mingle with other guests in any of the common areas of the Inn, including the living room , dining room, back courtyard and front yard.

This 1 bedroom suite is located in one of the few remaining houses in the West End. The house was built in 1959 and has been exceptionally well maintained and has been run as a b&b style Inn for close to 20 years.

Spacious apartment, perfect location

My daughter and I stayed here for her spring break. The two bedrooms gave us the privacy a teenager likes and the kitchen (fully equipped) allowed us to eat many meals in the apartment. The location was perfect - we both went for runs in Stanley Park, walked to the Aquarium and caught a shuttle to the Capilano bridge. There are nearby restaurants, a Starbucks and the Pomme Market - an excellent organic food store with ready-made meals. The apartment was spotless and well equipped. The ceilings are lower than the standard 8 feet but the roominess of the apartment more than compensated.

Very nice!

Our family of four enjoyed a four night stay at the English Bay Inn, in the apartment that offers two queen size beds plus kitchen, small dinning room and bathroom. We thought the location was fantastic; so close to the beach, Stanley Park, and a nice stroll to catch the little tug to Granville Island. Lots of great shopping close by, including a fruit and veggie corner store, Whole Foods for organic food, plus Robson Street. The apartment was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen comes well equiped with cooking equipment, great for making coffee & breakfast and eating at "home" when you get tired of restaurant food. And the laundry facilities were right by our apartment, which worked well for our family. Alberto was kind to check in on us to make sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. Ceilings are a bit low but my 6'4' husband did not mind (in fact he loved the place!). And our two teenagers didn't mind sharing the queen size bed when they discovered they had their own tv......

So overall a very nice place in a lovely quiet negihbourhood. We look forward to staying at The English Bay Inn on our next visit to Vancouver.

PS..... it was also very reasonably priced which amazed us for such a wonderful suite in a big city.

Perfect for our small family

We stayed in the small apartment at the English Bay Inn and could not have been happier with our stay. The location to Stanley Park, Denman St, and the beach made for a relaxing, car-free stay. The Inn has lovely gardens and is an oasis of quiet. Alberto was responsive, friendly, and provided everything we needed. The apartment has two bedrooms, a small kitchen and dining room, and a bathroom, all of which were clean and charming. The ceilings are not full height; we are short (5'10" and under) so this was no problem, but if you are a tall person you may need to duck. Well-stocked kitchen, nice linens, lovely all around! We hope to come back here every time we go to Vancouver.

Great place to stay!

Our stay was only two days but most enjoyable at English Bay Inn. The bedding and linens were higher standard which we value. Alberto and Jasie were very helpful with all things, even secured us cheap parking next door. The apartment was clean and stocked with kitchen essentials for cooking in. The proximity to Stanley Park and the ocean was most appealing for us. Great restaurants and bicycke rentals were close by. We left a small bag that has been forwarded to us. These folks make you happy and the property is quite charming. We had a quite rewarding epicurean journey in Vancouver that had been planned. We highly recommend this property to anyone wanting much more than a hotel experience!

Amazing

This is an amazing place to stay. The location is highly desirable, the staff was incredibly friendly and the room it self was better than the pictures. Very cute and quaint feel. Loved the outside common space. Would come back in a heart beat.

Staying West of Denman is an ideal spot for visitors to Vancouver as it allows you all of the conveniences of being downtown while providing a quiet, peaceful place to unwind when you head home after a long day of touring the city.

Head 1 block West for English Bay and The Seawall. Bask in the sun at English Bay Beach, Enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of a tree, take in a beautiful sunset over the water, or take a walk, run, bike ride, or roller blade around the 22km Seawall.

Head 1 block to the North and step out of the city and directly into world famous Stanley Park to explore some of the 400 hectares of West Coast Natural Rainforest. Walk, jog or bike any of the several kilometers of trails that wind through the park, take in a quick round of golf at the 18 hole, 3 par Stanley Park Pitch and Putt Golf Course, take a swim at the outdoor 2nd Beach pool, check out the local marine life at Vancouver Aquarium, or explore the beaches, historical points of interest, exceptional views over the water from several different vantage points and much much more. A day in Stanley Park makes it very easy to forget you are in the downtown of a major West Coast city!

3 blocks to the South will bring you to Denman Street, which connects English Bay to Coal Harbour. Denman Street has plenty of great restaurants and shops, as well as a large community rec centre for those that need access to a gym during their stay.

From Denman, walk to Robson Street (world class shopping and restaurants), Davie Street (home base for Vancouver's Gay and Lesbian community), Yaletown (trendy area of mostly converted heritage buildings - some of the cities best shops and restaurants are in this area) and Granville Street (Vancouver's primary entertainment district).

Other attractions within walking distance of the Inn include Granville Island, Gastown (though this is a bit of a longer walk - some may prefer to take a taxi when visiting Gastown), Coal Harbour & Ferries to the North Shore.
