Located on the 5th floor, the studio has panoramic views from a good- size terrace over the roman tiled rooftops of 'Old Nice' to the surrounding hills where the likes of Elton John have their villas. Rue Neuve is typical of the picturesque narrow streets of this historic quarter. A 5 mins walk takes you to the main squares, shops, the beach, the International Conference Centre and some mouth watering restaurants, including Cafe de Turin on the Place Garibaldi, one of the the best seafood brasseries in France. A 15 minute walk sees you to the harbour, the new shopping centre and a little further to the main train station. The airport bus stops almost outside the street, so this really is one of the best locations for exploring on foot the best Nice has to offer, or venturing further afield using the excellent transport system.

The Studio, apartment is located in the heart of Old Nice (Vieux Nice),in a quiet pedestrian street close to cafes, bars, restaurants and shops and only 750 metres from the beach. The studio has a cool, contemporary look and is fitted to a high standard. You can see more pictures of the studio interior on our website: please ask for details. No need for a car here, the airport is approx. 25 minutes by the regular airport bus service, right to the bus station, a very short walk from your door. Vieux Nice is a heady mix of colourful shops, galleries and markets in a densely rich architectural setting. Irresistible to artists and photographers. Where would you rather be? The Promanade des Anglais is 10 mins walk from the studio, and it's sweeping bay has plenty of private and municipal beaches to enjoy. This is the perfect location for roller blading, cycling, or just strolling and taking in the atmosphere of Nice. Then there's the colourful port, little more than a 15 mins walk.

Further afield: Within 1.5 hours drive, there are some excellent ski resorts including Isola 2000 and Foux d' Allos, which both have a good range of skiing for beginners to expert. There are some exceptional mountain villages within 1 hours drive with great walking and hikes. Lake Cassian is about 1/2 hour drive and is a centre for sailing, canoeing and camping. Or you can drive up into the top of the Gorges du Verdon area for some of the best paragliding and hang gliding in the world. Gentler pleasures can be enjoyed at all the famous resorts of the Riviera using the comfortable air-conditioned coaches that leave from the coach station ,a few minutes away. Italy is only 1.5 hours drive along the coast road to the east, or driving west takes you quickly via the motorway to Antibes, Cannes, St Tropez and many other exotic resorts.

My Husband and I spent a week at this lovely apartment. I can't give all the details but the owner is a very generous and kind person. Sorry it took so long to respond. We want to thank you so much ,can't find a better location to stay in old town Nice.The apartment is very well equipped and close to all amenities. It even has a Monoprix across the street! The location can't be beat! We will be back!

Vieux Nice Studio

We have just returned from our 2nd visit to this apartment
and found it just as delightful this time around. It is an
extremely pleasant and well equipped apartment in a very
interesting area.The walk to Villefranche sur Mer is lovely,
and takes about 1.5 hours. ,also the park on the hill you
can see from the balcony, esp. sundays (family day).

Perfection!

Location was great- at the northern tip of the old town and only ten minutes walk to the Promenade Anglais. The old town has a great atmosphere and a variety of interesting shops, restaurants and bars.
The apartment was exactly as described (clean, well appointed etc) and has a lovely roof terrace that we sat on to have some of our meals and a glass or two of red wine!
The owner was friendly and only happy to help with any enquiries we had.
Overall, it's a fantastic base to explore the beautiful city of Nice. Would undoubtedly rent it again when coming back to Nice and would strongly recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful apartment

I booked this apartment as a surprise for my daughter and her partner. They had a fabulous holiday in a perfect location within ' old Nice'. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very well maintained, and they loved the fact that there was a balcony where they could have breakfast and enjoy a drink in the evening before venturing out.

Public transport was cheap and accessible and they visited Monte Carlo, Antibes and Cannes as well as exploring Nice itself. Communications with the owner and agent were excellent.

Their only disapointment was returning home.
I am so pleased that I found this 'little gem' and would definately recommend to friends and family.
