This lovely apartment has a 2nd floor deck nestled near the top of a large old Dogwood Tree beside a seasonal babbling brook on 4 acres of trees and lawns situated on Route 52, 1.9 miles from downtown Camden, and .7 miles from Barrett Cove Park on Megunticook Lake. Accessed by an outside stairway, this large and very comfortable 2nd and 3rd floor apartment has every thing you'll need for a vacation in this lovely sea-coast town..including a tuned baby grand piano. The 12 x 24 living/dining room has plush new carpeting, leather furniture, panoramic window views of Mt Megunticook, Ragged Mt, and of course: lawns, trees, and the brook. It also has a full-sized hide-a-bed, and ample closet space. The open plan offers a cheery, fully furnished kitchen with new washer dryer, new dishwasher, new full-sized LPG cooking range, with easy access to the deck through the kitchen door. The full bath room is also on this level with over-sized shower, and new lavatory, and toilet. Just outside the bathroom door, is a let-down stairway to the 3rd floor bedroom with a very private den/lounge where the DirecTV serviced Sony Trinitron Flatscreen entertainment center is located, along with a comfortable, fully supplied, professional work station...WiFi access too via MyFairpoint.
There is a new memory foam king-sized bed in the third floor master bedroom adjoining the den/lounge, with ample large closets, and also a make-up area.
Every room has been freshly painted.
N.B.: By special arrangement, there is an additional [adjoining the apartment] bedroom on the second floor with a queen bed (a guest room in the main house) available for an additional charge of $65.00 per night. (Please note this a whole other bedroom which can be added to your vacation unit.) If you think you might want to add this bedroom to your reservation, a personal phone call (207 542-7391) with the owners is a must, as we may have it scheduled for our own family's use.
Additionally, if there is a condition that might preclude a vacationer from using the let down stairway to the 3rd floor, (if it is available), the 2nd floor queen bedroom might be substituted for the 3rd floor bedroom at no extra charge. (If both bedrooms are used, then the additional charge of $65.00 would apply.) But in such a case, there would be no TV, as it is in the 3rd floor.

Brian & Negar are friendly owners (but not too friendly).
Negar is a retired nurse; Brian is a retired teacher. Brian is a 4th generation Camden lad with a great knowledge of the area to share with guests: where to go, what to see, what to do, where to eat, where to drink and dance, etc.. After teaching high school in Scotland, 1975-77, Brian moved to Iran where he met and married Negar in 1978, and just 17 days after their marriage, they found themselves in the middle of the Iranian Revolution 1978/79. Come along: spend a vacation with us and not a fortune!
