Casita Tranquila is located on the Osa Peninsula on the South Pacific coast side of Costa Rica.
The Osa contains five per cent of the worlds plant and animal species.
The Casita is in a shady tropical forest and a one minute walk to a secluded beach.
We have many species of tropical trees and plants including banana, mango, papaya, avocado, guanabana, orchids and much more.
Wildlife includes, howler monkeys, white face, squirrel monkeys, sloths, birds include scarlett macaws, toucans, hawks, parrots, tanagers.
The casita has a living room with kitchen and bar, bedroom one has a queen bedroom, bedroom two has a double bed and a single bunk bed, the sofa in the living could sleep two more and is 80cm wide and in two parts.
The kitchen has a three ring gas stovetop, ceramic countertop and bartop, all cooking untensils, an ice chest for perishables.
lighting is by candles and rechargable lanterns.
Hot hower, sink, and toilet are set in a tropical garden outside the bedrooms.
Living room has a large sofa, dinner table and bar.
There is a deck with chairs in front of the living room to relax and enjoy the ocean view and wildlife.
