on the beach in Cancun Mexico. I would say my knowledge base of Cancun & the hotel zone is very solid. I own vacation rental property in Cancun, I have worked in Cancun, and I take a strong personal interest in each & every unit I manage in Cancun. Almost every picture you see of any one of the rentals or at any one of the resorts was taken by myself personally. I believe that I offer some services & items that currently keep us a head of our competition. These things may appear small on the surface, but I would offer for your consideration the thought that excellence can often be found in the details. For example, if you are traveling with small children, you will find a packnplay (play-pen & sleeper), a high chair & a quality stroller on hand. Or, if you would like to enjoy your favorite drinks down by the pool or beach we welcome you to use the special cooler you will find in any of our units. It is on wheels, super easy to take with you and is also very handy as a pool or beachside table. The convenience might only be outshined by the savings on drinks! This item has been pre-approved for use by the resort, when you are staying at one of our vacation rentals.
Lastly, it's important to know you are in good hands once you arrive to Cancun. Being a small company, I work with a small, tight knit group of terrific people in Cancun that are there for you, our guests. I can arrange for a trip to the Super Walmart grocery store early on in your stay if you like, which saves you money. (there are no grocery stores in the hotel zone-only convenience stores). The cost for this service is $40 & is paid directly to whomever takes you shopping. Everyone in our group in Cancun speaks terrific English and are among the nicest people I have ever known. If you have a need for babysitting services? If so, we can help. Would you like some real Mexican culture? I can arrange to send a professional chef to cook & clean up for you, & at very reasonable prices.

Hello. I'm Tim Miller. My brother and I bought this penthouse back in 2004. It was a big stretch for us plus it needed a lot of work at the time. We had recently finished making the improvements when in 2005 we had the worst storm Cancun had ever seen, Hurricane Wilma. All the work we had just completed was destroyed. We have before and after pictures, and then after Wilma pics on our website. Feel free to email us to see them.
After facing up to the task at hand after Wilma, my brother and I decided to borrow as much as we could take take advantage of the down time and try to make this space as nice as we possibly could. We completely redid the floor plan. Mostly, we wanted to open things up (remove a lot of walls)and replace the extensive concrete terrace rails with glass. In repacing the huge spiral staircase with another, we were also able to add an additional bathroom upstairs, giving each 'master suite' upstairs it's own bath.
It turned out to be a momumental project. I would never want to do it again. We went through 2 general contractors before I started to go down weeks at a time away from my family to get it finished. My wife spent untold hours taking care of shipping a multitude of things in from the states via a ship container. We rented a crane on 7 different occassions to get building materials, furnishings, etc up to the unit.
Everything has been done now since about March of 2007. The only major thing we added after that was our own AC system separate from the resort. The Resort AC system is OK, but people expect top quality when paying for top quality. So now, you can control the AC from any bedroom or any portion of the condo you like and get it as chilly as you prefer. (just please close the windows if you want it real cold-those AC bills can be brutal)

I really hope you enjoy our place. The greatest positive that came out of this whole project was it introduced us to one of the finest person's I'm sure I will ever know. His name is Mike (Miguel). Mike helped with the construction from beginning to end. He ultimately became my manager in Cancun and will always be, as long as he desires. What a gem of a man. I get emails raving about his service and how much he meant to peoples vacation, truly, all the time. It is so refreshing. His family has been in the fishing business for many generations. Now they take tourists fishing or snorkeling. And rest assured, when you stay with us, you get the Royal treatment plus better pricing than any tour company by far if you decide to go out with Mike on the boat for a day. His boat seats up to 14 and it's an experience I highly recommend.
Over time (you are looking at a guy that hated computers just a few years back)I sort of grew into becoming a computer nerd. I ended up doing real well in renting our unit via the interenet. Ultimately, other owners of upper end Cancun units approached me wanting me to rent out their places for them. So now I do rent out 5 other Cancun condos. For 20 years, my primary business was carpet & flooring. In 2009 I closed the flooring stores and began to pursue the vacation rental business full time.

After the massive renovation project, I acquired an appreciation for truly a quality luxury condo and what it took to make it that way. I have been approached by many nice folks wanting me to rent their places in Cancun. But unless they meet a pretty long list of high standards, or are willing to make the changes to get their units to these standards, I respectfully decline. Things are slow in the flooring business as you might imagine with the economy the way it is. So I have been trying to grow this business. But slow and done right is better than fast and troublesome. I have a lot of experience now in taking good care of guests from beginning to end. I hope you give me the opportunity to experience our service for yourself. If you enjoy snorkeling or fishing, one of our managers in Cancun, Mike, can take you on a private tour for much less than tour operators would charge. Mike's family has been in the fishing business for many generations. He now offers fishing and snorkeling private tours. Tours run about 5 to 6 hours, & include lunch on a private island. Plus Mike takes you where the tour operators don't so it's very peaceful and relaxing and just beautiful. His boat is shaded and seats up to 14. For reservations of 6 or more, price is $55 cash paid directly to Mike.
