Heeney Lodge Rental Photos and Description
Large lodge sleeps 12, fishing, hiking, biking right out the door!
Nestled at the foot of Williams Peak, the Dahle (pronounced Dolly) Guest Lodge is a comfortable, Western-décor retreat named after the original Norwegian homesteaders who settled the ranch in 1911.The view from the enormous wrap-around porch is tremendous. Soak it in sitting in the hot tub or while grilling freshly caught fish. Lake Dahle is only ten steps away, so if you are really talented you may not even have to leave the deck to reel in dinner. As our only guests at the ranch, you get to enjoy all 7400 acres of trees, meadows, lakes and activities all to yourself. And if you want.
Lodge amenities include:
?Sleeping and dining space for up to 12 guests
?Wrap-around porch with log furniture and grill
?Large outdoor fire pit
?High-speed satellite Internet hookup
?Cookware, dishes, and silverware as you’d find in your own home
?Williams Peak and Ute Peak views
?Advanced Emergency Equipment (AED, oxygen, and first aid kit)
The lodge is perfect for a group, family, or couple wanting to spend time in the mountains without crowds and resort prices. Enjoy home cooked meals in your kitchen while watching the sun set behind the peaks. Make your coffee while the sun comes up over the beautiful pond and meadow. Hike, bike, fish, or ski right out your door! The lodge includes 3 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs, as well as a large bedroom with 5 twin beds downstairs and another bedroom with 2 beds and an additional bathroom. There is a washer and dryer and the kitchen comes fully equipped for your cooking!
The lodge is within 1 hour of several ski areas, including Copper Mountain, Sol Vista, Winter Park, Breckenridge, and Keystone and less than 2 from Steamboat or Vail!
We encourage our guests to enjoy the nearby world renowned areas, but believe that we offer something those don't... peace and quiet in a serene mountain setting.

About Caytlyn Dee
The family has owned the surrounding ranch for over 20 years. In the fall the lodge operates as a hunting lodge, and in the summer cattle roam in the surrounding lands. We enjoy the sport of rodeo, skiing, and being outdoors which is what brought us to the place.
Why Caytlyn Dee chose Heeney

Guestbook comments from the manager
We were only able to stay for a night in our busy travel schedule, but could not believe how beautiful this setting was! My father got to catch a couple of fish as my husband and I enjoyed the sunshine and view from the porch. Would highly recommend this for a family reunion! We are planning a return trip next July!
