Can we live in this house forever?

  • 5 of 5
My husband did not want to leave Plumeria Hale! This was a perfect home for our first trip to Hawaii. Our family of 5 loved it. (Husband, wife, and kids 14, 4, & 1) Cozy, roomy, clean.. Beautiful yard. Pictures are accurate. About a 1 min walk to the beach. My first morning there I got to see the sunrise on the beach! Gorgeous! Boogie boards, snorkel sets, beach mats and towels provided. The bikes were awesome to have, especially the one with the child seat on it. Perfect location. I wanted quiet and relaxing, and that's what we got. Waialua is a nice town. Locals are amazing and friendly. We enjoyed the short drive to Haleiwa. Long's Drug store has some good and cheap souvenirs and cheap liquor/beer for your BBQ. Pizza Bob's was one of our favorite dinners there.. Also, across the street from Haleiwa Joe's is a small food shack with some of the best Thai food I've had. Didn't find any cheap food in the area.. Stay away from Foodland. We suggest driving about 20 Min to Walmart in Mililani. You'll save a lot! Sea and Board Sports is good for stand up paddle boarding. That was fun. We liked staying north, so we were happy for this place. Tsue's Farm has some great shave ice. (Possibly better than the legendary Matsumoto's:) Look on Groupon for good deals on activities. The Pirate Adventure was our kids' favorite! That was in Honolulu. If you're in need of child care, Happy Kids Maui was great. The nanny came to the house. When we weren't off sight seeing, we would enjoy the hammock in the yard, lawn chairs, and deck.. Or just relaxing on the couch with a movie. Ryan was great, and got right back to me if she didn't answer my calls. Very friendly and helpful. Mahalo, Ryan! I'm sure we will be coming back again. This property definitely set the standards high! Aloha

Plumeria Hale Perfect Paradise!

  • 5 of 5
20 year anniversary trip back to the island of Oahu could not of been more perfect. My husband and I wanted to stay in a quiet place with a true Hawaain neighborhood feel. Plumeria Hale was the perfect place for us and our son (18) and daughter (15). We could get up and sit on the porch and read, relax and have a quiet breakfast. Beach access was right across the street. Quiet beach with a beautiful view. The surfing village of Haleiwa was a short 2 mile drive (or run) from the house. There were great little cafe's and shops to enjoy. Top eats for us were Luibueno's Mexican Seafood & Fish Market. Great service and awesome food! Kono's Big Wave Cafe-if you like bacon this place is for you! Great breakfast burritos. For the burger lover- gotta try Kua Aina! One of our family's top "to do" was to learn how to surf and what better place than than the World Famous North Shore. We braved the waves with Uncle Bryans Surf Academy. They were reasonably priced, very accomodating and patient with us newbies. The waves during the summer months are also not quite as intimidating for new surfers. For an additional fee we purchased an awesome personalized video of our families surfing experience. Well worth the money! Our favorite snorkeling spots were Waimea Beach Park. Plenty of sea turtles and cliff jumping too! Parking is a challenge so get there early or pay small fee and walk from Waimea Valley Park. We ventured over to the Southern portion of the island to Hanauma Bay Preserve-a must experience! Awesome sealife and beautiful scenery. We also visited Pearl Harbor and toured the USS Missouri. Get there early (by 7am) as tickets go fast. Did spend some time on the last day shopping and eating in Waikiki before heading off to the airport. Staying at Plumeria Hale is perfect for anyone wanting to have a relaxing stay on Oahu. It is great for families or couples just wanting a quiet get-away. Ryan was more than accomodating with our reservation requests. We would highly recommend Plumeria Hale or Plumeria Cottage and look forward to returning in the future.

Great home, great vacation

  • 5 of 5
This was a perfect place for our family to rent. I looked at like a hundred rentals and kept coming back to this one; I am am thrilled we got it for the dates we needed. The home is very comfortable, clean and fully stocked. The things we liked most were the nicely remodeled rooms and tasteful furnishings, the yard and BBQ, the location and built in speakers that can accommodate iPhone and/or iPod.
Ryan was extremely helpful and very responsive.
We are already talking about staying at The Hale again next year and would highly recommend it.

Amazing stay at Plumeria Hale

  • 5 of 5
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Plumeria Hale cottage in March and was absolutely amazing. The amenities are first class and is literally steps away from the beach! Everything you need to enjoy the beach and what it has to offer is already in the cottage for your use; beach cruisers, snorkeling gear, etc. Definitely recommend Plumeria Hale to anyone vacationing on Oahu. Looking forward to our next stay!
