About Michelle Waite
Thanks for stopping by! We have lived in and visited many parts of the U.S and the world. Personally, although I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and currently reside and work in Singapore, the San Francisco Bay Area will always be home for me. The energy of the Bay Area runs through my veins and I know that it is the place that we will eventually move back to.
No matter where you end up staying while you visit the Bay Area, I hope that you enjoy it as much as we do and take advantage of all that it has to offer, including some of my favorite places like Noe Valley, Cole Valley and the Mission District in the city, Sonoma wine country, Stinson Beach and the hikes of Muir Woods and Mt. Tam, and of course, the lovely seaside village of Sausalito!
I would love to learn more about you and your favorite places to visit. I hope that the Bay Area becomes one of them.

Why Michelle Waite chose Sausalito
When we purchased this property in 2013, we knew that it was a place that we could someday live or retire to. We have always wanted to live in a location that had views of water. This property has some of the best. We lived in the city of San Francisco for many years before moving to Singapore for work. There will always be a place in my heart for the city...but Sausalito offers the proximity to San Francisco (a quick drive over the bridge puts you in the heart of the city in 15 minutes and a ferry ride takes you there in 20) with a micro climate that is more suitable to our likes...our home is in the banana belt of Sausalito which means that when the fog is thick in the city, we have sunny skies much of the time. This, in conjunction with the home town feel of the people in Sausalito made it an easy choice.
