means of access: Travelling by Eurostar:?The flat is accessible from Termini station by bus H and then a short walk.
By Bus:?The flat is also connected by a network of buses and tram which interconnect at Trastevere railway station and Piramide metro line B. within 5 minutes walking distance to buses 44,228,774,710,719 and 10 minutes walking distance to tram 8 to historical centre (Largo Argentina) and bus H to Termi Station.
By Air:?Fiumicino Aiport (FCO) has excellent connections into Rome and it is the nearest airport . The flat is also connected to Fiumicino by bus 228, 774 or 710 which interconnect at Trastevere railway station with the train to the airport. Ciampino Airport (CIA) is mainly served by low cost Airlines (Ryanair, Easyjet, etc.). This airport is not served by good connections as Fiumicino. You can get the Terravision bus to Termini station and then bus H. We always suggest our guests who land in Ciampino to come by taxi (around 60 euro) or by a pick up service. Ask us for details.
Very well equipped, spacious, high ceiling apartment 3 miles or so from the city centre. Well informed, considerate owner whose parents (living in the same block) look after visitors in his absence. Absolutely all likely issues are catered for in his excellent dossier for new arrivals. This modern flat is in a quiet residential area that is well served by restaurants and supermarkets. The only downside was the patchy bus connection to the tram 8 stop two stops from Trastevere main line station. But walking to the tram stop by the hospital takes only 15 mins, indeed, using a different route, only 25 mins is needed to walk to Trastevere Station with its regular overground connections to the east and west of the city. Public transport is unbelievably good value in Rome----only 24 Euro for a weekly pass for unlimited travel on bus, metro, tram and overground within the Rome area. But this ticket is unavailable at local tobacconist outlets, and the main tickets offices are closed on Sundays. Be aware.
accoglienza ottima, comfort fantastico e gentilezza squisita.
la posizione dell'appartamento è ideale, ben collegato, e l'appartamento è bellissimo!!!
Lo consiglio a chiunque
we, a familiy of three, spended our trip tp Rome in this wonderful holiday home. This nice apartment is full equiped. You find anything you need in the kitchen. The beds are comfortable. The property was tidy and well cleaned.
For reaching the historical centre aof Rome we needed only 20 minutes.Nearby you find a little street market and some shops.
Gino and his parents are wonderful hosts. They were so kind and nice to us. If we had a little problem, they helped us immediately. We can recommand this holiday home absolutly.
Excellent and very comfortable apartment. Very stylish with all the facilities you may need. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The center of Rome is easily accessible. Good restaurants and bars are very near. I hope when i will return to Rome to stay there again.
This is a lovely, modern, clean and spacious apartment in a "real" Roman neighbourhood. The owners and family are very kind and helpful throughout, and have provided many convenient services such as airport pick-up, and a information folder in the apartment detailing recommended places to eat, both near the apartment and in the city centre. We frequented two of the recommendations and thoroughly enjoyed it. The apartment is equipped with all the essentials: cooker, oven, microwave, three types of coffee makers (moka pot, filtered coffee machine and nespresso machine), all kinds of kitchen utensils, towels, TV, internet, lots of travel guides, etc. The internet connection was fast and reliable, which was great for us as we could use both our laptop and ipad. The shower was nice and hot, which was also a big tick for us. There are two balconies and it was pleasant to sit out or to water the plants at night. The apartment is very close to bus stops and only about 10 min walk to Tram line 8, which was what we caught every day to the city centre. Other than restaurants, there are also a number of small shops, butchers, bars, grocery stores and markets nearby. We truly enjoyed our stay in Rome, and will hopefully return very soon.
We had a great apartment to come home to in the evening. Obviously it has been decorated and furnitured with a lot of love and caring. At the airport we took the train to stazione Trastevere and bus 228 or 774 to stop Folchi
The apartment was easy to reach from the historic city. We always took bus 228 or 774 at the corner of Via Portuense - Via Folchi and tram 8 on the viale di Trastevere to the city and we came back by the same tram 8 to stazione Trastevere where we found the buses. The computer was a great help to find our way to the highlights. Bus 3 at stazione Trastevere is the easiest way to go to the National gallery of Modern Art in the park of Villa Borghese. It is at the last stop. Just in front of the crossing of the Tevere (there is a statue of a poet), there is a stop of tram 8,. There you find the centre of Trastevere with a lot of nice restaurants and a beautiful church Santa Maria di Trastevere. If you like icecream, try the blue ice. it's very good.
Gino and Vincenze are very helpful and kind and do everything in their power to find a solution to your problems
The apartment benefits from being situated in Portuense-Monteverde area, 10 minutes walking distance from tram # 8 that will take you to Trastevere, to explore Portaportese market on Sundays, or sampling the buzzing night life. Trastevere (within 15 minutes by tram) is a vibrant and exciting environment with easy access to numerous museums, art galleries, two markets (antiques and food), theatres, a large selection of pubs, bars, nightclubs and much much more.
