Il Palazzo di Bagnaia is a large 17th century villa set in a beautiful park of manicured gardens and extensive lawns surrounded by the estate of the Armanni family. Bagnaia is a tiny village where time seems to have stood still. The nearest village of some size is 2 km away and has a large supermarket, chemist, petrol station, grocers, mechanic, tennis courts, etc. There are numerous excellent restaurants in the area.
Bagnaia is very central for numerous daily excursions to some of the most beautiful historical and cultural attractions in central Italy:- Perugia (10 Km), Assisi (30 Km), Spoleto (70 Km), Todi (60Km), Gubbio (70 Km), Cortona (40 Km), Orvieto (70 Km), Rome, (170 Km), Florence (150 Km).

Marianna was exceptionally kind, and made us feel very welcome. Casa di Scoccia itself is also beautiful - we felt at home straight away.
