This cozy home overlooks Ventry Bay and has a rear view of the Dingle Peninsula mountains. It is located five miles from Dingle Town where you can shop, visit the local pubs with music and storytellers, go horseback riding, swim at Ventry's sand beach, hike historic trails, or visit archeological ruins.
At the end of the day, nestle close to the stone fireplace under wool blankets loomed locally in Dingle. This home has 3 bedrooms (all with double beds); the master bedroom is on the ground floor.
Shannon Airport is about a 3 1/2 hour drive away.

My husband and I shared this beautiful cottage overlooking Ventry Bay with friends of mine from my hometown of Alton,Il. We spent 2 glorious weeks here! You wake up to the sound of cows and sheep when you walk outside. We rented a car and took many hikes and day trips. It is close to Dingle with great shopping and restaurants. The weather was gorgeous. I got a tan! The cottage has three bedrooms, nice sized kitchen and living area.We went to Garvey's Supervalue and found a great selection of food for breakfast and snacks for our day hikes. I would highly recommend this cottage! It looks just the pictures!!
My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon in September of 2011 (sorry not 2012). We are once again looking at the photographs of the house and the visit to County Kerry. Such a beautiful stay!
Please consider this location as you will be very pleased with it. The house was better than what we expected and the assistant was great! All the sites around the peninsula were breathtaking. Also, we happened to see Paidi down at his store and found a video at our local library in NY as a tribute to him. Both occurences were quite a surprise!
Skip the Blarney and select the Dingle! Carl & Sara
Fell in love with Dingle, Ventry and the cottage. It was everything we could ask for and more. Cozy, beautiful views, fully equipped with excellent washer and dryer. Someway to get keys and come and go as you please. A perfect spot for a family of 4 and our first visit to Ireland and would recommend it.
Myself, my wife and our two children (4&7) travelled from Dublin to this most amazing place on the Dingle Peninsula. Breathtaking views and peaceful surroundings. It's that good that all the typing in the world couldn't describe it. The only way to understand how truly amazing this part of the world is, is to visit - and this cottage will add to the experience.
Waking up at 7am with sheep in the front garden - brilliant.
My husband, daughter and his parents and I found the perfect getaway when we stayed at this sweet cottage in August 2010. The views from the cottage are everything you've ever dreamed of! The location is ideal for visiting the Dingle peninsula & many days we ventured out to Cobh, Kilkenny, Kilarney etc. but my favorite days were spent right here. Walks down the lane are just incredible, the beautiful vibrant fuchsias & the endless delicious blackberries, our favorite two friendly cows...you can walk to the pub, the little store for supplies and the beach...or hop in the car & sightsee & shop in Dingle, enjoy the pubs & the people! The owner was incredibly nice, informative and easy to talk with. I would love to come back, but maybe just the two of us next time - the cottage is very romantic!!!
We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cottage in September. We were there to celebrate my Mom's 70th birthday. It was a magical vacation and one we'll never forget. The Dingle Peninsula is just breathtaking and the people we encountered were so welcoming. The cottage felt like our home for the week and we cannot wait to return someday.
