We're a spacious, very beautiful villa with large gardens and pool in 2 acres of private grounds in rural Greece, a tranquil quiet location, close to beaches and many lovely seaside villages yet in an area blessed with a host of wonderful bars' cafe's and tavernas, hidden empty beaches, sailing, tennis, horse riding, all within easy reach, We're well located for easy traveling to Meteora, Delphi, Pelion, and Thermopylae. 'Magnificent', 'an Oasis', 'Unique' and 'a very Special Place' is what guests say of us. Huge living spaces and sun terraces, with every modern convenience, 13 rooms covering 550m2. Gardens with mature fruit, fig, palm, pine trees plus lawns and baby trees, and all around you are views of sea, olive groves, mountains. Easy to reach from airports, motorway all the way. We also do private yacht charters for SAILING days, and pool side DINING from a local Chef. Horse riding, tennis are within 10 minutes.

  • The weekly rate is per person for exclusive occupancy assuming 9 persons (standard 5 bedroom arrangement). We can accommodate up to an additional 4 persons using a 6th occasional bedroom ( 4 single beds, non-private room, ideal for kids) for an additional £25 per person weekly There is a minimum weekly rate for occupancy, equivalent to between 5 -7 persons depending on the time of year - see owners website for full details. Babies in cots are free. We can supply 1 cot.

  • Nearly all seasons we offer special extras (a private SAILING day (or days) on our private yacht , private DINING poolside under candlelight catered by local Chef and followed by bouzouki dancing.

  • Sleeps 9 as standard in 5 bedrooms. Bedroom 6 is optional for larger groups - its the Turkish Room (styled in Turkish colours and with a raised floor around the window areas) a large room of 38M2 overlooking the terraces and gardens and serves as the access area to the main bedroom area. It either acts as an additional seating area or additional sleeping area for 10 - 13. 2 single beds are permanently accommodated here, but can easily extended to 4 on request. It's an ideal area for kids to stay together in. Off the Turkish Room extend the 4 of the remaining 5 other bedrooms and 2 of the 3 bathrooms.

Worth a visit

A relatively easy drive from Athens airport on the recently upgraded highway. Set in a small rural Greek village but within easy access of large towns and the sea side town of Rahes which is excellent for evening entertainment - great bars and restaurants. An interesting villa very different from the norm and incorporated with ancient walls from what used to be an old bakery and stables. A large property and very spacious with comfortable furnishings. The pool area is great and many wonderful evenings were spent in this area; the chef night is well worth doing and you will need your Greek dancing shoes! A car is highly recommended if you want to visit the beaches, but public transport is available. Within easy reach of many cultural sights. A most enjoyable and different experience for a holiday away from the usual summer holiday crowds. We were well looked after by the owner who was always willing to help with any questions or queries. Worth a go!

having had many holidays on Greek Islands we decided to visit mainland greece and chose the villa in achinos. It was a lovely holiday from start to finish. Lovely clean spacious villa with great views and swimming pool to cool you down. Even if you are in a large party ( we were smallish) there is plenty of room for peace and quiet. There are plenty of good resturants in the village and surrounding area. If you want entertainment there is the town of Raches (nice beach there also) and Lamia is about 20/30mins away. We had a car, however the children used public transport which was fine and also we had a taxi occasionally in the evening... We like our wine!!
We found the owner very helpfull and not at all pushy Nothing was too much trouble for him. I would strongly recommend this villa.
