If you have an urge to see water, well this property is a block from the Hillsborough River and Rivercrest park where there is a 2-3 mile walking/running trail. Bring your bike. Lots to see and explore in these neighborhoods.
House is only 45 minutes from the beaches, 10 min from downtown and Ybor, and about an hour and 1/2 to Orlando.
I grew up in a very small town in Tennessee and I have always loved the water. That is how I ended up in Florida. I have my own design and consultation firm as well as my real estate license. I love transforming properties into pieces of art or really fun places for people to stay. This particular vacation rental was designed with alot of extra creativity so someone could really feel like they 'got away' and when they return home they will feel refreshed. Hope you enjoy!
Rebecca Schleifer purchased this bungalow in 2013
I bought this house because I love arts and crafts style houses and more importantly Seminole Heights just seemed to fit my personality! It is laid-back living and the people at the local grocery store and restaurants have time to carry on a conversation:)
Porches, high ceilings, wood floors and carriage houses! I love all of them..and this house has them all. It also has tons of windows and the upstairs unit is surrounded by Big Oak Trees. The upstairs unit has some really special things going on with it such as a hanging bed on the original sleeping porch and the dog wallpaper in the bathroom.
This VRBO was just as the pictures showed.... spacious, impeccably decorated. The location was ideal being so close to a park for walking and very easy access to shopping and the airport. Rebecca was wonderful and quick to respond and give helpful tips.
I really loved this house! Great location. Beautifully decorated. Quiet and comfortable with room to spare. Great restaurants and coffee shops nearby. I will definitely book this home again without hesitation.
We traveled to Tampa as a group of 5 to stay there for two weeks. We were in contact with the owner quite a while before we arrived and she was quick to answer any questions and help us out. This way, she had the grill and coal ready for us when we set foot on the lovely property. We had enough sleeping possibilities for everyone of us to have one for himself. The house was clean and comfortable with all necessary appliances and a nice interior design, just as shown in the pictures. Whenever we had a problem or wish, the owner would help us out as good as she could. We enjoyed our stay a lot and were always happy to come home to this house after our day trips. We can happily recommend it and will try to book it again for our next trip.
This was our first trip to Florida as a family and with a group our size. The apartment met our needs and the owner was very helpful with ideas on food and fun. We would definitely return to this home again.
Very nice property, well maintained and cared for. Several sleeping spaces to choose from, and a great living room with attached patio. The kitchen is pretty small and lacks much pantry space, so plan accordingly. Otherwise, expect a wonderful trip and a very accommodating owner.
This was a lovely place to stay in Old Seminole Heights. A quiet respite in the trees, and the apartment is just as lovely as the pics! Very clean and comfortable and the hanging bed was the bomb.....great place to while away the afternoon with a good book. Office space was set up with modem for internet access. Great location for exploring Tampa area. Highly recommend and Owner has great favorites for burgers, tacos, and more.
