It is the largest skiing region in the Pyrenees, with 193 km slopes. Its privileged geographical location ensures a snow of good quality and a lot of sun all year long. Grandvalira is a well-known skiing region in Europe. It is situated in the North of the principality of Andorra, at the frontier of France. This skiing region belongs to two of the seven cities in Andorra. Encamp and Canillo. It has 6 different accesses, which are all situated along the river Valira d'Orient - Encamp (FUNICAMP), Canillo, El Tarter, Soldeu, Grau Roig and Pas de la Casa.
