'Glenmore' is a delightful 3 bedroom bungalow facing a mountain range in South Connemara and rests in its own landscaped grounds within 300 yards of the sea, supermarket, pub and an excellent restaurant. Glenmore has been completely renovated in 2005 and upgraded throughout with solid wood oak flooring and doors. Newly furnished to a high standard with a large fully fitted kitchen in traditional oak style; and a sitting room with marble fireplace, satellite TV including Sky Sports 1, 2, 3. One 5ft double room and one twin bedroom with vanity units and one single room with a 4ft 6 double bed. Bathroom with shower & instant heating facility. Patio with sea views and barbeque with garden furniture. Laundry room with new separate washer and dryer units. Golf within 30 minutes, championship course 1 hour. Sea and lake fishing nearby. Lovely walks within sight and magnificent beach within 3 miles Overlooking Kilkerrin Harbour with village nearby. Galway 40 miles. Clifden 26 miles.

Connemara is the name of an area that is located in the west of Ireland with a coastline on three sides that overlook the Atlantic. It is a unique parcel of land with its rugged wild and rocky landscape peppered with heather, gorse and mountain streams. Connemara is a worldwide favourite holiday location for peace and tranquillity. A championship golf course is at Ballyconnelly, about 45 minutes from Glenmore, and two other courses nearer, and there is fishing, walks, and trekking at your doorstep. There is an excellent restaurant less than 200 yards away with a local pub with music most weekends. The local village at 300 yards has a supermarket and post office. Kilkerrin is a village on the Atlantic and 'off the beaten track' and Glenmore is an ideal base to explore the area and for an independent self-catering holiday in a rural and beautiful setting. See Cllifden the main town in Connemara for the many other local activities and events that are held throughout the year.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden hier, das Haus ist wirklich wunderschön, sauber, sehr schön eingerichtet und mit Blick auf den See ! Es ist ruhig, und viele schöne Orte sind erreichbar von Kilkerrin. Die Kneipe in der nähe hat uns sehr gut gefallen, die Leute auch !
Großartige Unterkunft in beeindruckender Umgebung, liebenswerte
Vermieter,absolut empfehlenswert.
Es war erstklassig, ein Juwel in Connemara.

WOW! The fishing village of Kilkerrin situated in the traditional Gaelic speaking region of Connemara is truly an unspoiled gem with its secluded safe atlantic beaches with white sand and rock pools - and all within a 10 minute radius of the cottage. The village has a good local pub "Coynes" which serves decent food and there is a large shop and post office, which are all a 2 minute walk from the cottage. We have had several family holidays at Glenmore cottage with our 4 young children, who get the chance to run free in the huge back garden or up the mountain to the back of the cottage. The cottage is very comfortable with all mod cons and satellite TV and the view from the kitchen window of the bay is spectacular - it makes one want to do the washing up! We are already planning our next break!!

Les Kilroy sont des hôtes d'exception qui ont à coeur de recevoir avec goût leurs visiteurs.
On y appréciera tout particulièrement le calme et le silence. A recommander pour qui veut se ressourcer...

A very nice rental and impeccably equipped to visit this nice region of Conemara. Mr and Mrs Kilroy are guests of exception who have in heart to accept their visitors with relish.
You will appreciate there particularly peace and silence. To recommend for those who want recharge batteries.

We really enjoyed our stay at Glenmore!

This cottage coinsists of very large rooms in particular the living-room and kitchen. It is located in a very quite area and with a marvellous view. There are a supermarket and a pub very close just at the end of the street, that is very useful.
All this cottage is very clean: beds and linen sheets, kitchen and equiment, all rooms, furnitures and materials and the garden with grass very well cut.
There is a lot of equipment and facilities in this cottage. All these facilities works well and are quite new.
