We met at Gemology school in San Diego, CA and found that we not only fell in love but shared the same passions for life. We chose to be jewelers by trade but we are designers by passion. We settled down in the Santa Barbara area and began to raise our two boys Ozzy and Cash. Being on an eternal search for the perfect place to live we just had not found it yet. Eric, born and raised in Mississippi and I in Idaho, Eric often spoke of this magical town in Tennessee called Leiper's Fork that he had visited as a teenager. We finally came for vacation July 4th, 2014 and I promptly fell head over heals in love! We were sitting out front of Puckett's drinking Ne-Hi soda watching our boys faces light up with joy as they chased the fireflies. Leiper's Fork chose us in that moment. Without delay we purchased our home on Joseph, now the Tin Roof Cottage, returned to Santa Barbara and moved here 20 days later. We never looked back, we now reside just 1 mile away from the Cottage. We are currently raising our boys in this marvelous community and we welcome you with open hearts. Warmly, Eric, Samantha, Ozzy and Cash
Samantha purchased this cottage in 2013
This home chose us, it provided us with a wonderful opportunity to raise our family in this great community. It was a stepping stone to what was to come, we had no idea that we would fall so in love with this town and the people that call it home. This was our first home in TN as a family and therefore this house is very special to us. We now own three vacation rentals on this street, as it has stolen our hearts and we know it will take a piece of yours too.
Tin Roof Cottage provides you with a unique opportunity to become immersed in a Norman Rockwell painting that has come to life. You will love getting lost in this great community but still have easy access to the city of Nashville and downtown Franklin.
Thank you for allowing us to rent your home. This is our second trip to Leiper's Fork and we were not disappointed! The property was exactly as the photos describe. We would definitely recommend staying here to friends and family. We can't wait to come back.
We came for our annual girl's trip combined with a Diana Krall concert at the Ryman. Our trip couldn't have been better. The house is adorable and outfitted well. Lots of confusion on the gates and front door, but other than that everything worked well and looked great!
Thank you for an amazing stay!

Loved the house! Wished we could've stayed longer. Had a great stay, you had every thing we needed, and I must say those beds are really nice!!!!!
I've rented a ton of homes over the years on VRBO and this one takes the prize. Having never been to Leiper's Fork before, the town felt like we were on a movie set beautifully stuck in a wonderful place in time. And the Tin Roof Cottage couldn't have been better. Perfection is the only word that comes to mind...and I can't wait to revisit this dream-like location very soon.
Our first visit to Leiper's Fork was FABULOUS!! Tin Roof Cottage was perfect for the four of us with lots of extra room!! The decor is vintage, shabby chic, and Anthro - LOVED it - so charming!! It even rained one morning and it was so peaceful listening to the rain hit the tin roof. Ahhh!! The kids loved having NetFlix and beds were super comfortable! We walked to breakfast most mornings and enjoyed the wonderful cinnamon rolls at Puckett's. We spent most days in Nashville and loved driving into Leiper's Fork at night after a busy day and seeing the lights strung on the houses and businesses. So welcoming!! You can tell the owners spent alot of time and effort decorating and "stocking" the kitchen, laundry, and linen closets. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we will be back!!
My husband and I took our church youth group on a weekend retreat to Nashville and decided to stay in beautiful Leiper's Fork. We absolutely loved the house, all the amenities and the yard space to gather for games and bonfire. Our students and chaperones have requested to stay at the Tin Roof Cottage again and not leave for the entire weekend (we took a day trip to Nashville). Everyone wanted to stay and enjoy all that the Tim Roof Cottage had to offer and explore the little town of Leiper's Fork. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone! The owners were outstanding to work with and truly made our stay easy, comfortable and relaxing. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very well stocked. Again, wish we had more time to simply relax and enjoy our accommodations. We'll definitely be back!
If you're looking for something unique, you've come to the right place. From 200-year-old antiques to fine art to one-of-a-kind people, Leiper's Fork is a rare find for visitors and locals alike. This is a magical place that once visited you may not want to ever leave. Take a stroll through the village and you will marvel and the fantastic shops that are at your doorstep. Puckett's offers live music almost every night, don't forget that scoop of ice-cream on the hot summer day. The Natches trace is just a few miles down the road, calling for a lazy drive.
