This is a very nice 3 bedroom semi-detached Villa with private pool and very nice sea views from the 1st floor dining terrace. It comprises a bright and nicely furnished lounge with dining area and open fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms ( one en-suite) and one cloakroom. It provides air conditioning in all bedrooms and central heating. It has got a beautiful garden with 9x4,5m private pool which offers a lot of privacy. It is situated in the Quinta do Paraiso resort which does have its own reception, bars, Restaurants, Scuba diving, big communal Pool, a small supermarket and other facilities like mini-golf and kids club. Quinta do Paraiso is approx. 1 km from Carvoeiro centre.

Beaches: The nearest beach is about 15-20 minutes walk. There are many other lovely sandy beaches in close proximity by car.

Quinta do Paraiso: You will find peace and tranquillity as well as plenty of activities here like for example a kids club, a large playground area, mini golf and a diving school, tennis courts as well as a large shared pool area with children’s pool. Even though it is only a short walk to Carvoeiro centre, you can use the shuttle busses as well. All recommended trips like f.e. to Slide and Splash and Zoomarine do have pick-ups at the reception area. 3 good and well known restaurants are in less then 5 minutes walk, as well as a small supermarket

Distances: The house is situated in the Quinta do Paraiso Country Club. The centre of Carvoeiro is about 15 to 20 minutes walk down a cliff road, with beautiful views. You can walk back at your leisure or if you prefer return by courtesy bus, taxi or even a little colourful train which drives through town on a regular basis. There is now Wifi available! A new outdoor kitchen with BBQ, fridge and dishwasher and a new Kitchen and cloakroom in teh house fitted 2013

Lovely Villa

Stayed in this villa from 21st to 28th September 2010. A very nice villa indeed in a good location on quinta do Paraiso. The villa offered all of the required facilities as well as a good degree of privacy around the swimming pool to the front of the property.

The villa was very clean and tidy with a good maid, gardening and pool cleaning service. A heated pool was available but not used during our stay, though I have to say that the water in the pool was extremely cold at this time of year.

The villa is over 2 storeys with the bedrooms on the ground floor and kitchen living area un the upper floor. There is a very large outdoor living area / balcony off the living area providing an excellent view of the sea off Carvoeiro.

Great holiday, good villa in good location.

Just spent a wonderful week at this villa with my husband and 2 kids (14 and 10). It was very clean, comfortable and well equiped. The garden and pool were lovely and always in the sun. The garden was also well furnished and basically we all had a really lazy family holiday which is exactly what we wanted.

We booked the accommodation at the very last minute but everything was extremely well organised for us. We got lost finding the property and someone even came to find us to escort us to the villa!

I would have no hesitation recommending this villa to friends or family - although a big part of me would like to keep it a secret!

Gorgeous house, fabulous location

Our family of 2 adults and 3 children (6 year old and 3 year old twins) spent a fantastic week at this beautiful villa in August. The villa is obviously a well loved family home and it was immaculate. Spotlessly clean, Isabel, the maid, is obviously a gem. The pool was super and very well used. I spent every evening of the 1st floor dining terrace. The kitchen is small but well-equipped but other than barbecuing we only cooked properly once. There is a delightful Italian trattoria on the Quinta do Paraiso complex.

We only visited the communal pools once but they were lovely and clean. The children also enjoyed the organised evening activities, such as the mini disco. We loved the Carveiro area and discovered some gorgeous beaches. Although we drove to the beaches and it would have been too far to walk to the beach with the children.

The management company were also excellent and very well organised.

We would definitely recommend this villa for a family holiday.

Fantastic holiday

We have just returned from our holiday in the Algarve where we stayed at this beautiful villa. The villa and surrounding area were lovely and the garden and pool fantastic, we couldn't keep our children out of the pool it was truly wonderful. The garden as described in previous reviews is glorious and contained some fabulous plants and gorgeous flowers and was a relaxing place to spend time. We also enjoyed the upstairs terrace/balcony which has distant but lovely sea views and is very spacious. It is about a 15-20 minute walk into Carvoeiro - we cut through the Monte Carvoeiro complex and down a steep flight of stairs which took you down to the centre of the village (it is quite a steep climb back up especially in the heat). I would recommend a car to take advantage of all the beautiful beaches in the area and to travel further afield. We found some nice places to eat at the Square with the fountain at Monte Carvoeiro which is only a 5-10 minute walk from the villa.

We had a lovely holiday and would definately recommend this beautiful villa for a relaxing break.

Just What We Needed!!

We spent ten wonderful days at this lovely villa in June/July 2008, and enjoyed every moment of our holiday. It was everything we wanted - and more. The directions from Fara airport were very clear, and we found the villa without too much difficulty. We found the villa to be very nicely furnished and well equipped. It was very clean and comfortable. David from the Management Company was extremely helpful. In our opinion this villa is located in a beautiful area, with lots of greenery all around, and nice views to glory in. The gardens around the villa were glorious, a mass of colours, and so very pretty. We wanted a quiet relaxing holiday, and that is exactly what we had. The area was very peaceful. We spent our days in, and by, the pool, and our evenings in Carvoeiro. We liked Carvoeiro very much. We ate in quite a few restaurants and found the food to be of a very high standard wherever we went. We did find that it was preferable for us to have the use of a car, although it is not essential if you are fit and like walking. We would have no hesitation in going back again, and know that we would enjoy it just as much the next time.
