Newport House Rental Photos and Description
House, 4 Bedrooms, 4 Baths, (Sleeps 12)
Plan an amazing Oregon Coast retreat with friends, family, or a mix of both to this waterfront four bedroom Newport vacation home. This beautiful getaway has its own private hot tub, Yaquina Bay and Bridge view, and a prime location just down the road from the Newport bayfront's galleries, shops, and eateries.
The main floor of this three-level home has a bright and open living and dining room, with large windows for a scenic view out at the bayfront and bridge, and lots of natural light. After a day stopping in and out of shops, come back for an evening of DVDs on the large screen cable TV. There's plenty of space on the brown leather furniture for everyone to relax, watch movies, or just look out at the iconic Yaquina Bay Bridge.
When it's time to gather everyone around for meals, the dining room table is right in front of the windows and deck access. Dinner can be a leisurely affair with wine, fresh seafood bought from Local Oceans Seafood Market just down the road, and views of the sunset out the windows. There's also WiFi throughout the home, making the large dining room table a prime spot for setting up your laptop for a little work or to check emails.
The full kitchen has everything you'll need for meals while on vacation - a refrigerator, stovetop/oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. There's even a coffee grinder for freshly-ground beans in the morning. Pick up all the ingredients for an epic feast at the store or just heat up leftovers from the previous evening's dinner out.
From the outdoor deck, the view overlooks Newport's bustling bay waterfront. Watch the seafood boats come in, listen to the seals, or watch a storm out on the bay. In the morning, don a hat and grab a mug of coffee for some quiet, reflective time outside, listening to the gulls and enjoying the view. After a long day hiking around nearby Cape Perpetua, come back and relieve sore muscles with a soak out in the hot tub - on clear nights you can watch the stars come out.
The four bedrooms have a king bed, three queen sized beds, and a twin rollaway bed. Everyone will be able to pick their favorite room when it's time to turn in. Each bedroom has its own deck access, and the lower level bedrooms look out at the hot tub and the bay. This home also has four and a half bathrooms and will sleep up to eight guests quite comfortably.
In addition, dogs are welcome here! Bring your furry, four-pawed friends along for a $10 per day, per pet fee ($40 minimum per stay). Other amenities include a wood burning stove for those chilly coast nights, and a washer and dryer for guest use. Don't worry about getting dirty exploring while out exploring or walking along the shore at Nye Beach looking for shells and agate - you can always throw a load of laundry in the washer when you get back home.
From this home, the shops, murals, and restaurants of the historic bayfront are less than a half of a mile from your door. Walk down and go to the Saffron Salmon for lunch, find a glass float to take home as a souvenir in one of the galleries nearby, and spend an afternoon wandering around Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Museum. And on nights you don't feel like cooking, a number of additional restaurants are right down the road - Panini for sourdough crust pizza and nightly specials like woodfire-roasted game hens with confit leeks, Local Ocean Restaurant, Rogue Ales Bayfront Public House, and Mo's for chowder, as well as fish and chips.
A short drive or a mile's walk away, artsy Nye Beach offers a long sandy beach for kite flying, sand castle building, or an early morning jog along the shore with the dog. Yaquina Head Lighthouse is just on the north side of town, and right across the bridge is the popular Oregon Coast Aquarium, as well as the headquarters for Rogue Ales, where you can have some lunch, get a brewery or distillery tour, and buy some gifts to take home.
A great escape summer or winter, this Newport vacation rental will charm all its guests! Soak in the hot tub, watch the boats come into the bay, and have fun while you explore this picturesque bay and ocean-front coastal town.
