Convenient, comfortable and quiet!

A perfect place for our party of four to stay. So close to Burbon street and the areas we wished to explore. Although just off Burbon St, it is very quiet. The apartment is well equiped. We took advantage of the small pool top area several times, and found we were the only ones using it, which was wonderful for us. Marcus was extremely helpful, however it would have been beneficial to have a book or information sheet in the apartment advising of the internet code and the vacate time. It would also have been of assistance to have information on where the carpark is located and how to gain access prior to arrival.
Overall it is a perfect accommodation venue and we found it very clean and comfortable. Thank you Marcus.

The best place to stay in New Orleans!

My husband and I came here to stay for the weekend. We loved this VRBO and will never stay in a hotel in New Orleans ever again!! Amazing location, great amenities. Details like green tea in the fridge, Keurig machine with k-cups, mini-toiletries in the restroom.. We loved it all! Marc was awesome in directing us on how to get into the unit. Loved the little roof top pool!! Steps away from all the action on Bourbon. Thanks for an amazing stay, and we hope to be back soon!!

Not very clean but is very convenient.

As the other reviews state, this condo offers a lot of amenities. It is very safe. Close to all that is the French Quarter, restaurants, shops, bars and of course Bourbon Street. Marcus, the property manager, was pleasant to work with in planning our stay. The property itself is equipped with everything needed to be comfortable for a short stay. Particularly appreciated having more towels available than you can possibly use. Where else do you get that? There is also a small washer/dryer that works very well. There is also no lack of hot water for showering. I also want to mention, although none of the other reviews here have, that this building offers a rooftop pool. Although small, it is kept very clean and doesn't seem to attract a lot of attention as we basically had it to ourselves on the late evenings that we chose to use it.
Now the downside is that the condo lacks privacy. You'll probably find that you have to keep the blinds closed most of the time during the day as the only window looks out onto a shared courtyard of sorts.
My biggest complaint was that the condo floors were dirty and sticky. The cleaning crew came in very late on the day of our arrival, actually postponing our check in time. It's possible that they didn't clean the floors as well as usual because they were hurrying to get us in. I would have preferred clean floors and a little delay over having to keep our shoes on the entire time we were in the room.
Overall, I would recommend staying at the Creole Nest II. But I would emphatically insist that the condo be cleaned to better standards.

Excellent place to stay!

I stayed 3 nights here last month and was very pleased with unit. It was nicely furnished, clean and had a great location (off Bourbon, near Canal). The owner, Marc, was very nice and accomadating and was quick to resolve a couple of minor problems. Even though I arrived in the middle of the night, he had no problem with arrival time. Would definitely stay here again!

Convenient and comfortable!

We stayed here for a long weekend. It was a perfect location to explore the French Quarter and was within walking distance of the Central Business District. Just steps from cafes, restaurants, etc, but somehow pretty quiet given the close proximity to Bourbon Street. Clean, comfortable, very cutely decorated and had most anything you would need for a weekend.

The only reason we're giving it 4 rather than 5 stars is that there wasn't any kind of book there that gave us information which meant we didn't know what times we had to check out by and we had to text the owner for all the internet information. There was also a very loud party next door one night (although I got the sense this was not something that happens often). One other thing to note is that the only window looks out into an enclosed courtyard, so you don't have any privacy and little natural light.

Overall, would recommend, especially over one of the hotels in the area.

Louis cathedral, world famous cafe du Monde, Jackson square, Jax brewery, the river-walk and the aquarium. A walk to treme, Frenchman street the shops at canal place is a must.
