Your room greets with a view of, ocean and lagoon, and Hilton Hawaiian Village. Watch the Friday night fireworks from your over-sized lanai. Dine next door at world famous Morimoto Restaurant or go up the glass elevator to Sarento's at the Top of the Ilikai for drinks in the round and catch a magnificent sunset then watch Honolulu twinkle at night with their breathtaking panoramic views.
Check your e-mail with your free WiFi. There’s a reason Elvis stayed at the Ilikai along with presidents and other notables — maybe it was the 40 year tradition of Hawaiian torch lighting that happens nightly.
The Ilikai is an oceanfront hotel that stands proudly at the entrance to Waikiki, overlooking the most famous beach in the Pacific. A private walkway leads directly from the hotel to the redesigned Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon and the most desirable strand of Waikiki Beach. From our lovely and spacious ocean view room on the 11th floor which faces the ocean and the lagoon, we think you will love it here as we offer relaxing accommodations that suit your every need. You can snorkel, surf, hike, kayak, paddle board, scuba, swim, or shop within minutes and all the equipment is available here. You will never want to leave!
The Ilikai's convenient location allows for easy access from Waikiki to many popular area attractions. You'll find yourself within easy walking distance to Ala Moana Beach Park, Ala Moana Center, Waikiki Beach Walk, and the Hawaii Convention Center. Downtown Honolulu is located only a few minutes away by car. The outlet malls have buses which pick you up here!

About Scott Thomas and Patricia Rust
I am a children's author and travel writer and love meeting my guests from all over the world. Most of our guests return (over half) and a few have become friends of long-standing. I look forward to meeting you, too!
Scott Thomas and Patricia Rust purchased this condo in 2007
Why Scott Thomas and Patricia Rust chose Waikiki
I bought it to live in myself! But families do change! Also, I like to travel to Mediterranean countries and know what a bargain Hawaii is by comparison! Our monthly rate is their weekly rate! You just can't beat Hawaii or the prices! Also, I grew up here and have watched the aloha spirit in action and I haven't found it anywhere else!
What makes this condo unique
The Ilikai is an iconic hotel for a reason. You take the elevator downstairs and you are at the lagoon and ocean. Everyone is friendly. Yesterday, they put in a Food Pantry grocery store which is a fine grocery store like a Gelson's. I'm so excited. They even have a sushi chef in another one! So, I can't wait to see this one. Their coffee place is the best and the grounds couldn't be nicer overlooking the yachts at the Marina where a stroll is always in order. The Ilikai is lovely and has been re-modeled and maintained. That's why folks come again and again!
