Es Moli comprises of a living-dining room with an open plan kitchen and two bedrooms, each with its own en suite shower room.

There is a fire place in dining area. Fabulous mountain views can be enjoyed from the windows in the upper sitting area, which has TV/video and stereo. Kitchen is fully equipped with new refrigerator, oven, gas stove, micro oven, dishwasher. Air condition in bedrooms and living-dining room.

The house has a delightful stone-paved sitting area shaded by a pergola with a barbecue for a warm summer's evening. Delightfully refurbished Jan. 2002. Situated in the charming mountain village Fornalutx with bars, restaurants, shops, bank and 12 minutes drive to the sea at Port Soller. Palma 30 minutes away and airport 40 minutes drive.

The village: Fornalutx was twice elected one of Spain’s most beautiful and best preserved villages. Lovely mountain walks with stunning views wherever you go. Towards the valley of Soller with its lemon- and orange groves or up the majestic Tramuntana mountain or charming country roads with olive groves, goats and sheep.

The village itself is a 'living' village with banks, post office, hair dresser and beautician,shops, butcher, iron monger, carpenter, fisherman and a lovely main square(plaza) with the church, bars, shops and restaurants surrounding it.The women, like in the old days, still come and do their laundry just outside the house in the depot of water from the well. Soller the nearby town derives its name from the Moorish word 'sullier' which means golden valley from its orange groves. There was a great trade of the citrus with France and it is said that the Sun King himself, Louis XIV would eat no other oranges than the ones from Soller. A charming antique tram runs down to the Port.

Es Molí: The house is named Es Molí which means wheat mill. Charmingly converted it occupies the lower part of an old mill, the mill stone is now the table in the little stone paved sitting area, shaded by bougainvillaea-covered pergola. The garden has a barbecue for al fresco dinners.

Fabulous mountain views and evening sun can be enjoyed from the windows in the upper sitting area.

The kitchen is fully and well equipped with high quality fridge/freezer, oven, gas stove, micro oven and dishwasher.

Climate: Although mostly thought of as a summer destination, Mallorca enjoys a wonderful climate throughout the year with little rain. The Autumn, winter and spring is the best times to explore the island on foot or by car before the tourist traffic gets to heavy.

Es Molí offers a special rate for stays longer than 2 weeks in the winter.

Wunderschönes Ambiente

Es Moli bietet eine wunderschöne Unterkunft. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Auch die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Sogar eine elektrische Zitruspresse gibt es, mit der man jeden Morgen einen frisch gepressten Orangensaft zaubern kann.

Fornalutx selbst ist ein wunderschönes Bergdorf. Es wurde zum schönsten Dorf Spaniens gekürt.

Der nächste Strand ist Port de Soller und in ca. 10-12 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen.

Ein behaglicher romantischer Unterschlupf für jeden, die fernab vom Massentourismus ein paar schöne Tage verleben möchten.

Fornalutx is situated on the North West part of Mallorca, it is a small mountain village 7 minutes from Soller and 12 minutes from the Puerto Soller and its beach. It is just 40 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from Palma city centre. Fornalutx is a picturesque mountain village, which has won the national touristic price for one of the prettiest and most well kept village in Spain. It is surrounded by terraced mountains and valleys where they grow the best tasting oranges, lemons, almonds and olives.

It is a short drive away from the village of Deia (Deya) and Valdemossa.

The bedrooms have full size beds - 180 x 2 meters for the double and 90 x 2 meters for the three single beds. The 2 bathrooms have handmade tiles and are fitted with basin, shower and WC as well as towel heaters. The 2 bedrooms and the living room, dining room and kitchen are air conditioned (for heating or cooling) and there is a large fire place. Beautiful views from the sitting area and some of the rooms. The 'patio' ,little garden, is furnished with a sitting area, a table made from the old millstone and there is a barbecue for al fresco dinners. There is a sunny and a shaded area, trees and flowers all around you.
