Thank you for the use of your lovely comfortable home. We had an enjoyable week of relaxation, sightseeing & 2 visits to the Book Depot! Earl enjoyed feeding your fish. Dave & Marie enjoyed sitting out on the patio when the sun shone.
We pray Blessings upon your and your home.
A very comfortable stay for the whole family - thank you! The welcome, the handy grocery shop, quiet street, easy access to the Niagara region and the sunny weather, all made for a great trip. Wifi wasn't always reliable, but the sports channels on the TV were appreciated by the men when we returned from visiting family/outings in the evening.
We were up for the Canadian Henley Regatta and had a wonderful time staying here. We brought our bikes and were able to get in some great rides also. The Location of this townhouse was ideal, a short drive (or ride) into Niagara on the Lake and about a 15-20 minute walk to the grand stand in Port Dalhousie.
We'll be back next year for the regatta.
This house was very neat, comfortable and cosy as described by Ann the owner.Ann was very helpful and provided all the essentials we needed for our stay.Ann made us feel that the house was ours during our two weeks stay. Myself and my family felt it was home from home. We would definitely stay in this accommodation in future if available. The area itself was very nice and close to all amenities, with the local supermarket just within a walking distance. A fantastic to stay if you would like to visit Niagara falls and the US during your stay. In all, great house and a great owner.
Just wanted to let you know that we truly appreciate your kindness and the wonderful opportunity to stay at your home in St. Catharines. My three daughters and I had a wonderful time and traveled to Toronto (3 days!), Georgian Bay (Collingdale), Niagra on the Lake, and of course Niagra Falls (2 days). We also enjoyed St. Catharines and got to ride the 5 cent carousel on Sunday morning.
For the most part, we left early each morning and not arriving home till 10:30 pm and heading straight to the extra comfy beds for a good nights rest. My morning shower was refreshing and envigorating and got me rarin' for the next day of fun.
We discovered Tim Hortons, the Toronto Blue Jays, Royal Ontario Museum, Ontario Science Museum, Toronto Zoo, CN Towers, Casa Loma, Maids of the Mist, Behind the Falls, and many other exciting places.
Thanks you so much for your wonderful hospitality and looking forward visiting soon!
We can't say enough how enjoyable our visit to St. Catharines was. Ann was so friendly and helpful in answering our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in her home and found it very clean and fully stocked with everything we might need, from dishes and utensils in the kitchen, to soaps and lotions in the bathrooms. There were lots and lots of clean towels and bed linens. There's a grocery store within walking distance. Plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax after long days of sightseeing. Many things to see and do within a 20-30 minute driving distance. We, of course, enjoyed Niagara Falls, but we also loved driving along the Welland Canal and seeing the huge ships go through and we also enjoyed a nice day in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We would definitely recommend this home to others looking for a nice place to stay and we would stay there again ourselves, if we were to return to the area in the future. The only one negative thing we have to say is that we had no access to wireless Internet service during our stay, and for travelers looking for information on places to go, things to do, costs of things, directions to places, and trying to pre-purchase tickets for Niagara Falls related excursions - that would have been extremely helpful. But we worked around it and it would not deter us from staying there again.
I would definately recommend this house to anyone. The house is home from home,it is very clean & well equipped. It is also very central for all attractions.Ann the owner of the house is very friendly, nothing is too much trouble,we will definately stay here again.
