Robert and Barbara Schiesser
Both of us grew up in Liverpool, NY, a suburb of Syracuse. After living in Saratoga Springs for a few years, we moved to Webster NY where we lived for 27 years. We have five children and 12 grandchildren. Barb is a retired social worker and Bob has a mechanical design/engineering background and owns a hydraulic design and distribution business in Rochester with one of our sons. We built our lake house first as a vacation home and then turned it into a full time residence and a bed and breakfast/vacation rental in 2004. We love the beautiful Finger Lakes and love sharing our home with others who appreciate the beauty and tranquility of the area.
We fell in love with this unique piece of property perched above the lake with a magnificent view. From day one, we could imagine our beautiful home that would one day fit perfectly and naturally into the hillside.
We are fortunate to be very secluded and at the same time very close to so many fun things: wineries, breweries, Watkins Glen State Park, many waterfalls, Watkins Glen International Raceway, great restaurants, hiking, biking, horseback riding, and more.
