When we decided to purchase a vacation home in Florida, we did a lot of research. We wanted to know things such as overall annual climate; what sort of attractions were nearby i.e beaches, golf courses, best boating and fishing spots, sightseeing opportunities and so on. We were also keen on knowing the area's flora and fauna because we did notice the differences in our travels throughout Florida. We also wanted to be situated in an area that offered the conveniences of important amenities that were in close proximity to the property.
The decision was not easy because each area in Florida offers something a little different and unique. One thing is for sure, we wanted to stay on the Gulf of Mexico side for a number of reasons. For example, the water is calmer and ideal for swimming or boating. The other criteria we considered was whether or not to choose a beachfront or inland property. We immediately decided on inland for a number of reasons. We wanted to be able to go out everyday exploring different beaches, sightseeing, or perhaps shopping and retire every day to an environment that was peaceful and serene where we would be surrounded by the calming breezes of palm trees and not the often busy hustle and bustle of beachside properties.
We finally decided on Cape Coral in Southwest Florida because of its' Caribbean type climate, virtually year round. There is definitely a more tropical feel and it superseded all of our criteria. Our beautifully appointed and welcoming home will please the most discerning traveller. It is equipped with everything you will need for a memorable vacation. We believe that sometimes the most beautiful things should be discovered and explored in your travels. The Palm Oasis Villa will most certainly meet all of your expectations. We look forward to hosting your stay!
