There is a leisurely pace and rustic charm which links with the welcoming Gozitan people. Throughout the year visitors can experience leisurely walks or hire bicycles to explore the beautiful scenery, also enjoy diving in crystal clear waters, swimming in blue coves and lagoons, sipping a glass of wine or a cappuccino in a bar, dining by candle light in the open air or simply relaxing with the easy pace of island life. Gozo is famous for its diving sites, snorkeling excursions and boat trips around the island. There are numerous coves and beaches for sunbathing and swimming, some sandy, some with pebbles, most are easily accessible by car.

Religion is woven into the fabric of the Gozitan people and throughout the year festivals are held in honor of the saints. These colorful occasions are celebrated with processions, brass bands, dancing and fun with beautiful displays of fireworks lighting up the sky. In the evening the island is alive with restaurants and cafes to enjoy leisurely dinner al fresco. For those with energy still to spend a couple of excellent night spots buzz throughout the summer months or take a short trip on the ferry to enjoy the Casino in Malta.

Visit our beautifully converted 150 year old farmhouse, close to the main square with excellent restaurants and cafes under the silhouette of the famous 17th century church in the sought after village of Xaghra.

myself the missus and another 2 couples stayed in this charming place for two weeks and have nothing but praise for the accommodation, the village and indeed the whole of Gozo.

The farmhouse (a fair description) is situated right in the residential area just a couple of minutes from the sleepy and typically Gozeton main square in the village of Xaghra.

During the heat of the day it was great to come back to our own pool and then cool off under the modern air conditioning that is present in every room.

Rooms were clean and spacious with enough space / seats for everyone. We stayed in a couple of nights and were able to fend for ourselves very adequately with food bought from the local market (just drive for 5 mins and you will find one) cooked on the outdoor BBQ...

A perfect retreat that we plan to come back to....

We have stayed in this house twice now and absolutely loved it. It's location is so peaceful and the house itself is spacious, comfortable and finished to an extremely high standard.

Each of the bedrooms are large with air conditioning and the two bathrooms are perfect.

The downstairs area is large and comfortable and easily enough room.

The pool outside is just the right size and the bar-b-que is great for nights in.

This house is the nicest that we have stayed in and will hopefully be returning soon.

One of the most relaxing holidays ever.......

Visited this lovely farmhouse in Xaghra a couple of years ago. This Island is absolutely breathtaking, like stepping back in time (in a good way) and is the perfect escape from the modern hustle and bustle. The farmhouse itself is very quaint and has been renovated beautifully. The rooms are all a good size and the lounge / dining / kitchen / reception open space downstairs creates a great living space and a real home from home. The pool and outside area offers privacy and the perfect placed to relax for us. The walk into the village for supplies is easy and the locals are very friendly. We had a nice welcome pack upon our arrival with the essentials and a nice guide to the area. The maid came during our stay and cleaned around us and left fresh laundery. A great week in the sun and stunning surroundings, what more could we want!?
Experience Gozo and more importantly.....relax.

return visit to Xaghra

we stayed in this property 2 years ago and loved the house and particularly loved Xaghra. The house this year felt in need of a little TLC and I am sure last time we had a visiting cleaner once during our 10 day stay. This year we didnt get a visit so never had sheets changed. Towels not a problem as the house sleeps 6 so we used towels from all the bathrooms.
Having said that, the house is a wonderful house in typical Gozo style with, I think, sandstone walls and high ceilings. The beds (2 doubles and a twin room) are large and comfortable with lots of storage and air conditioning.
On our arrival there was a welcome pack of bread/spread/ham/cheese/water (a bottle of wine would have been nice!)
The house is an easy stroll from the lovely village centre and, after 5 visits to Gozo, Xaghra remains our favourite village. In the square are 3 restaurants where you can sit outside which you can NOT in most other villages

Dès le ferry, on se retrouve au paradis, que dire de Gozo?
D'abord la Farmhouse au milieu de la ville, à deux pas des restaurants et surtout dans une rue très calme....
A deux pas d'une des plus belle plage de GOZO.
Les enfants ont adorés: la piscine, la climatisation, et surtout cette grande pièce à vivre avec vue sur la piscine,
IMPORTANT/ DECOUVREZ ABSOLUMENT LES VINS DE MALTE, ILS SONT DELICIEUX///DIDIER
