Beautifully furnished, modern two bedroom - two ensuite bathroom Town House with parking, small garden, cool private court yard, and private roof terrace/sundeck with stunning views to sea and mountains. Two semicircular sun terraces overlooking large shared pool set in gardens with views to sea and mountains. The entrance is via a large double security gate, down a few terracotta steps, into the private court yard and then the main front door. The Town House is a 5 minute stroll from the famous 'Burriana' beach and 15 minutes walk (5 minutes drive) to the centre of Nerja.

Architect designed modern town house also used as second home by the owners. The house is the most Southerly of a cluster of 10, it is entered via large security gate with a short driveway leading to the private roof top/sun terrace, turn to your left and descend a few terracotta steps into a private courtyard, to your left is a large oak front door with a three phase security lock. In the house, on your right is a marble stairway leading down to the two ensuite bedrooms, both leading onto a semi circular balcony. Moving back upstairs, opposite the stairway is the entrance to the fully fitted kitchen with large archway, through to the dinning area - all kitchen tops are real granite. There is a semi-circular balcony leading off the dining area and a large lounge area with a 'Juliet' balcony and ceiling fan. Guest cloakroom. All balconies look out over the pool and down towards the Mediterranean. The property has white marble floors throughout to help keep cool in the summer.

The Town House is situated 350 mts. from Buriana beach (5 minutes leisurely walk) and 15 minutes walk (5 minutes drive) to town. The property is built into the side of the valley that runs North to South and faces South East affording fantastic views to the sparkling Mediterranean and to the North the awesome Almijara Mountains. The property is swathed in sunshine from early morning until late afternoon/evening. The entrance to both the house is via large security gates that open onto a quiet residential road with very little passing traffic. Although a car is not necessary, (you can book a taxi through us to collect you from Malaga airport on arrival and take you back to the airport on your departure, at a cost of approx 70 euro/£65.00 each way), we would recommend hiring a car, to visit local places of interest such as Frigiliana, Maro, the Caves of Nerja and Malaga etc. The Burriana Beach is one of the Costa del Sol's few 'Blue Flag' beaches.

Additional information about rental rates

  • All prices are inclusive of beginning and end of rental cleaning, linen and towel laundry, water, electricity, maintenance, local taxes and a welcome food and drink pack ( milk, bread, eggs, butter/spread and a bottle of drinking water, to get you started on your first morning
    5th person at £38.00 extra per week.
    An additional cleaning and maid service is is available on a weekly basis or more frequently at 20 euros per hour
    (?14.00 approx).
    Prices for rentals extended into lower or higher rental periods will be charged at the pro-rata rate.
    Discounted prices for long term lets (6 weeks +) are available on request. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
    An additional charge of £14.00 for gas/electricity for heating is charged between the months of November and the end of March. For long term winter rentals the utilities are paid as consumed.
    50% deposit is required at time of booking and the remaining 50% balance becomes due 6 weeks prior to your arrival date
  • Cot and high-chair can be provided at an extra cost of £26.00 per item per week.

Bedroom 1 has a 'mirrored' built-in wardrobe and bedroom 2 has a 'French' sliding double door leading onto the balcony.

This property was a real find. (We had been looking at places in Torrox and after driving through it on our way back to the airport we were very glad we didn't go there!) Jacquie, the owner of the house, was a pleasure to deal with, friendly and very efficient. When we arrived we found the house immaculate and were very glad of the welcome pack and other bits and pieces in the larder! We visited in October and the weather was very changeable but on good days our balcony got the sun from 0900hrs right through to late afternoon. At that time of year the development was very quiet but I can imagine that in the summer months it would be a different story! The beach is a short walk down the hill, but beware the walk back is a steep climb! The location of this property is ideal being so close to the beach and just a 15 minute walk from the town of Nerja. Frigiliana is a must see small town just a short drive into the hills and features on many of the postcards for the area. In terms of eating out there are too many places to chose from. We didn't find anywhere that really stood out though and the cuisine seems to be similar in most restaurants. 'Properties Cafe' near the beach has received rave reviews and the menu looked great but didn't have the views we were looking for! Cochran's Irish Bar in Nerja town must have the best location in town with a huge sun terrace giving views over the sea and across to the Balcon de Europa. We spent a whole afternoon there basking in the sunshine. (Don't let the fact that it's 'Irish attract or dissuade you from going as there is nothing Irish about this place!) Neither of us speak the language but I did my best to order food in Spanish and this made a considerable difference to the way the waiters treated us. I would strongly recommend that anyone do the same.We had a car and it was invaluable to us. Getting around is easy and there are plenty of supermarkets in the area but surprisingly expensive for fresh food and vegetables. I hope this has been useful and if you go to Nerja have a great time!
