Anna Maria House Rental Photos and Description
2 Bed / 2 Bath with Heated Pool and Hot Tub on a Canal
Looking for that place to kick back and relax your cares away? See the rave review from the NY Times about Anna Maria* and then check out ‘Triple Play Guest House.' There's a triple chance to play: (1) walk to the beach, (2) lounge in the pool or spa or patio or (3) launch a kayak, fish or just relax on one of our two docks on the canal.
Return to the time of “the fine art of doing nothing” as another NY writer describes the quiet north end of Anna Maria Island. Several years ago we discovered the island’s simple pleasures, beautiful beaches and wonderful homes. In all our travels around the world, it was Anna Maria where we kept returning. Nothing quite compares to the sugary white sand, the ease of access to beaches, the wonderful wildlife and ease of walking and biking. And sunsets, incredible sunsets!
We want you to experience the same vacation that we have come to enjoy throughout the years.
“Triple Play Guest House” is a 4 1/2 minute walk to the beach on the cherished North End of Anna Maria. We are no more than a ten minute walk to the Rod and Reel Pier pictured in the NY Times article and a beautiful 18 minute beach walk to the Sandbar Restaurant also described in the article.
Picture a 2 bedroom, 2 bath home of casual, upscale elegance. Sliding doors that disappear completely onto a fantastic lanai and beautiful heated pool and spa. Listen to the gentle sounds of the pool’s waterfall surrounded by tropical landscape and outside dining and lounging.
Each bedroom, has its own new flat screen HDTV to enjoy during that time off inside. Better yet, enjoy movie time on the large flat screen in the living area. The house has wi-fi, cable television, washer-dryer, and all the conveniences of home. The house is completely redone and brand new to the rental market as of March 2010.
We’re also not far from historic Pine Avenue where you can rent bikes, additional beach equipment, safe and unsinkable kayaks plus beach and baby equipment. Pull a wagon to the beach. It’s just a 4 1/2 minute walk to the Seagrape entrance at beautiful Bean Pointe where you will enjoy one of the world’s most beautiful white sand beaches. Watch the dolphins playfully swim or see the boats sail by.
Hop on your bikes for lunch at Ginny’s and Jane E’s. Enjoy their great BLT’s, cappuccino and sumptuous baked goods. Kids want to try fishing? Walk out your back yard. Or for an additional adventure, walk over to Rod & Reel Pier and when you grow a little hungry again, don’t forget to try their great island grouper sandwich. Catch a bite of dinner at the Sandbar, the Beach Bistro, the Waterfront, or any one of the fine restaurants on the north end and return to the beach with your chairs to catch the beautiful sunsets that take your breath away.
You will love Anna Maria Island and 'Triple Play Guest House” is the perfect spot to remember what going to the beach is all about! Located on the quiet cul-de-sac of Iris Street. We invite you to come, relax in the casual elegance and enjoy the Triple Play Guest House!

Guestbook comments from the manager
We spent a marvelous week at this vacation paradise. The pool was a perfect relaxation after a long day of play at the beach. We rented bikes and would bike to the beach, bay, ice cream, lunch, you name it, we biked there. It is a short bike ride to about 6 different beach access entrances on the Gulf, and a short ride to the Bay side piers and park. The canal was a great plus, we went kayaking out to the bay. (Even saw a Manatee at the Bay!!)
The house was clean with modern updates. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms clean, internet, cable TV... all of the comforts of home. We grilled out several nights and lounged by the pool. We watched the fish jump while sitting on the dock having morning coffee.
I would recommend this home to a family, a honeymoon couple, an active young couple, an older couple ... even my boss!
We had a blast, and cannot wait to go back!
Happy Travels! :)
