Come to spend your holidays with your family in this very comfortable gite for 6 people near the sea. For your holidays or a short stay, at least 2 nights, come to discover our region, La Manche, with its must-see Mont-Saint-Michel, its spring tides, its fine sandy beaches, its colourful countryside during all seasons, its touristic towns(Cherbourg the sea town, Avranches, Granville with its old town, Coutances with its cathedral), the ice rink, the swimming pool, the garden, Villedieu-les-Poêles the copper town, whilst living in a three-key-gite for 6 people, recent all mod cons villa and complete baby equipment.

Location: Manche < Normandy < France

Geographical location The gite is located in a calm village 1,5 km away from a very big beach where you can take some air, swim and of course go fishing. The Contentin peninsula is boarded on three sides by the English Channel, the sea that gave its name to the department. An amazing complicity between the sea and the moon offers the most important spring tides in Europe, which give an incomparable taste to the oysters. By the way, concerning the sea, Normandy is the first producer of oysters and mussels. At low tide, the oyster parks are accessible by tractors; this is the reason why the oyster-farmers are called "sea gardeners". Bearings: La Manche: 5940 km and 330 km from the coasts Hauteville sur mer is a small beach town lively and relaxing at the same time; it is also the only station for children in Lower Normandy; so many activities are provided for children. Many efforts are also made for disabled people.

Fees and payment terms: rentals are from Saturday to Saturday; the arrival time is planned at 2:00 pm and the departure time at 10:00 am. During low season or at the last minute depending on my availabilities, you have the possibility to arrive another day. One week before your arrival, I will send you an email to inform you about the list of contents of the house, and give you the terms of key handing in. We accept holiday vouchers. You have the possibility to rent the house linen; if you inform me in advance, your beds will be made at your arrival and you can relax straight away to make the most of your well-deserved holidays!!! The tenants must make the cleaning before the departure; you also have the possibility to have the household done, but in that case, it is better if you inform me in advance.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Charges are extra
  • Damage deposit : 350 €
  • Advance payment : 30% of the rental price.
  • Fees and payment terms: The rates are for one week from Saturday to Saturday: In January rates of very high season 200 Euros per week. Low season: 250 Euros per week. Mid season: 400 Euros per week. High season: 760 Euros per week. During low season, for 2-week rate, the second week is at half-price, which means 375 Euros for both weeks. Do not hesitate to have a look of my calendar in order to know which are the concerned periods and my availabilities. You have to add to these 2.5 Euros per day (water, telephone subscription, household waste) and electricity according to the electricity meter. It is possible to rent the house linen: 8 Euros per bed and per stay (beds are made at your arrival) Towels: 5 Euros per person Tea towels: 5 Euros for 6 tea towels. We accept holiday vouchers. The rental is paid in two times, 30 percent at the moment of booking.

  • The bathroom is located upstairs. It is bright and spacious with a bathtub, wash basin built-in a storage furniture, one nappy changing table and toilet separated by a small wall. You also have a full-length mirror; a chair and tiled floor. The velux window is equipped with a grey window shade. There is also a shower room with shower on the ground floor, washbasin, mirror and shower curtain. This is very practical after the beach. IMPORTANT: To adapt to the American standard, we have converted the European bathroom information. The original information is : - Number of European bathrooms : 1 (can be with or without toilet inside) - Number of European shower rooms : 1 (can be with or without toilets inside) - Number of toilets : 2

  • The bedrooms: The gite has two self-catered and bright bedroom for the parents' bedroom 1 big bed with quality bedding, 2 mattress covers, 1 eiderdown and 2 pillows. There is of course a quilt. There is a parquet floor and a velux window equipped with a "complete night" shade. There is also a wardrobe, 2 bedside tables and each one of them has a night lamp, a radio alarm clock, only in one of them (only for the departure day!!!); one pouf. For the children bedroom, 2 beds of 90cm are available and they have quality bedding, 2 mattress covers, pillows and covers as well, and a quilt. There is also a wardrobe, bedside tables with lamps and poufs. There is parquet floor as well. The velux window also has a "complete night" shade.
