One visitor commented, 'Your casa in magical'. We agree, there's magic inside and outside as mother nature constantly changes the colors in the mountains and the ocean.
Watch striking sunsets over the ocean while cooling off in the swimming pool. Listen to tropical rain when sleeping at night. Hear the sounds of birds and other wildlife. Live in the clouds as they sometimes float by in front of your eyes. Maybe it's more than magical. Think of it as living closer to heaven.
Cool breezes sweep through the casa for year round comfort. The deck next to the pool features four ceiling fans. Every room in the casa has ceiling fans and the two bedrooms have air conditioning. Most of the furniture was shipped from the United States.
The property is electronically gated with a security system and enclosed with an electric fence. Security is a priority for our family and our guests.
A wide variety of tropical plants surround the casa. The back of the property features a tranquility garden where we add new species all the time and plan to name them for the enjoyment of our guests.
Start your morning early with a cup of coffee or tea in the garden while watching the mountains or the ocean. It's like medicine for the soul. If you like we can provide you with a private yoga lesson or massage.
End you day in the swimming pool with your favorite beverage and watch amazing sunsets.
The living room opens up to the outdoors so you can enjoy the cooling breeze. Sit comfortably in a leather sofa with two recliners, a leather reclining chair or enjoy a total massage in a human touch massage chair.
Recline and watch television on a flat screen, listen to music on a dvd player or watch a movie on Netflix. Hook up you laptop to Wifi to communicate with the world.
Adjacent to the living room is a bar with two barstools. The kitchen features a panoramic view of the mountains from the sink as you pour your first cup of morning coffee. It is equipped for gourmet cooking with ample cookware, microwave, appliances, dinnerware and silverware. The refrigerator and electric oven are new.
Retired from the medical profession, I have fallen in love with Costa Rica. I cannot wait to share my newly adopted home country with you.
Jeanne Chase purchased this villa in 2012
This property just 'feels' good. The views never disappoint, whether the ocean in the front, mountains in the back or the docile cattle grazing on the Rainforest Farm behind the house
Quiet, apart from town, yet within less than 5 minutes, you are in the middle of everything within a 5 minutes drive.
We stayed at Casa de la Sirena over the holidays--and it was the laid back, peaceful retreat I was in need of and the gateway to adrenalin-fueled adventure that my two sons were looking for.

We stayed at Casa de la Sirena over the holidays--ad it was exactly the laid-back, peaceful retreat that I was in need of and the gateway to adrenalin-fueled adventure that my 2 sons were looking for.
Jeanne and Glenn were incredibly helpful both before and during our stay. We had an awesome day out with Glenn kayaking on the ocean, and they helped us arrange a private yoga session and massage on the deck...life doesn't get much better than that!
We were also very happy to meet all the wildlife that calls Casa de la Sirena home. We were visited by toucans in the morning, and toads at night, as well as many beautiful bugs and birds throughout the day.
A lovely home away from home
Manuel Antonio is the number one tourist attraction in Costa Rica. The National Park has stunning white beaches and a rainforest inhabited by monkeys, parrots, iguanas and birds. There is 109 species of mammals and 184 species of birds. The isles off the coast is visited by dolphins and whales. This park is just minutes from Quepos.
Quepos is a humble fishing village with two marinas and a sport fishing fleet. The town hosted the 2013 International Salt Water Fishing Tournament. The village center is a six block square with restaurants, bars, hotels, bakeries, art galleries and gift shops. The entire village can be seen from Casa de la Sirena. During the day we see the ocean and surf in Quepos. The view from the master bedroom is very romantic at night overlooking the village lights trailing to the sea.
