This spacious airy villa is set in its own grounds of the hillside above the valley of san Agustín, peaceful part of the country side and it´s only 5 minutes walk from the busy village of San josé with its shops, banks, bars,...Beaches, Ibiza town and san Antonio are all within a few minutes drive. The villa has four twin rooms, two full bathrooms ( one with jacuzzi), a large lounge/dining room with its bar and fire place, a brand new well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, large fridge, semi-professional gas cooker (5 rings), coffee machine, micro-wave,...There´s also washing a machine, optional air conditioning, large 9 x10 swimming pool with lights and a barbecue. A maid comes three days a week, change of sheets weekly, and towels twice a week.

San José is the nearest village to the highest point of the island ( Sa Talaia, marvellous views). This village is popular thanks to its church (San José). You will find banks, shops, Farmacy, supermarket... and have the possibility to enjoy typical and international cuisine at the different restaurants, and 'tapas' bars. There´s a 'bohemian' famous bar with alive music on Thursday nights. Ibiza town is 15 min. drive, Best beaches on the island belong to San josé area (Salinas, Prorroig,Cala d´hort, cala Conta,...) The closest beaches to this village are Cala Tarida and Cala Vadella (4 Kms).

where do I start? Can Xanchu was exactly what we wanted it to be, an excellent villa in an awesome location with superb facilities - the large oven and paella dish with stand and gas bottle for cooking out by the pool, beautiful views in every direction, a great host in Paul/Pablo. Our group were out in Ibiza for a batchelor party week and I'm pretty confident in ssaying that every one if us thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. We didn't bother to get a car, and found the use of taxis to be very easy on some days. We did have difficulties some of the times we ordered them but nothing too bad. I can wholeheartedly recommend saying at Can Xanchu, just make sure you take plenty of insect repellant and bite cream, the insects were the worst thing there (but not actually too bad mate).
Thank you very much to the owners, a very memorable holiday and no mistake. NATBMAY!
