Nerja is still a traditional Spanish town, with many side streets and traditional markets. There are no high rise developments, and is probably more suited to the holidaymaker who wants to enjoy a quieter holiday. The evening street life is geared to wandering around and enjoying Nerja . There is a wide choice of good restaurants in the town, together with some stylish shops selling leather goods and quality clothes. There are several beaches, including the large Burriana beach, with paella, fish and sardine barbeques. Also excellent scuba and snorkelling trips to explore the coastline. The famous Balcon de Europa attracts painters and artists as well as street theatre. You must also visit the fabulous Caves of Nerja, which have massive chambers and some of the biggest stalactites and stalagmites in the world. Also go and explore Granada and the amazing Alhambra with its Moorish palace and mosaic walls

Notes: Access is via a short set of steps, and car parking is very close by, unlike some of the properties on this development which can mean a long trip with shopping from the car. Please call us if you want to hire a car. One of the nice features of Casa Limon is that you enter the property through your own lockable front gate(see photo) which opens onto the patio and garden and is not overlooked by any other villas.

Kitchen and Living area: Living room with seating for 4, ceiling fan, CD and tape player. New 3-seater sofa and single chair. Cable TV with good selection of channels. DVD Player. Recently re-furbished kitchen with modern 4 ring hob cooker, microwave, toaster etc, etc. etc. But no more lists!! - we have just fitted out Casa Limon with quality kitchen equipment, and hope that these additions will help you enjoy your holiday more.

Bedroom: Good quality sheets and towels

Please call us to discuss the accommodation, where it is located and access to other facilities and central Nerja. Generally, it is under 10 minutes walk to the supermarket, and 20 minutes into town, with pavements all the way. Central Nerja has many good restaurants in all price brackets. The only discotheque is discretely placed in a quiet corner and the evening atmosphere is peaceful, due to the type of holidaymaker that chooses Nerja. Nerja is extremely easy to find from the airport, with motorway virtually all the way. Nerja Tennis Club 5 minutes walk. All guests will receive a comprehensive information pack when they book. If you don't already know the area, please call us because we would like to ensure that all guests know exactly what they are booking so that you will enjoy your holiday and get value for money. For guests arriving late at night we can organise the supply of a 'Welcome Pack', consisting of a bottle of water or wine and some basic provisions for 8-10 Euros

Excellent Holiday

Just back from two weeks at Casa Limon - lovely peaceful home from home. It is equipped verything you could possibly want or need. The patio is a fabulous sun-trap with an awning for when it gets too much. The enclosed garden is brilliant for a toddler who want to explore as far and wide as possible.

The complex swimming pools are excellent - decent size, with both shade and sun areas for lying out. Very well kept complex.

Nerja itself is a lovely town with fantastic beachs close at hand. The sea in July was as warm as a bath!

We hired a car and traveled along the coast to Malaga, also to Grenada and the Alhambra, less than two hours drive.

I have no hesitation in recommending Casa Limon for a relaxing holiday in the sun.

great family holiday

Unfortunately we only had a week to enjoy this lovely villa/complex and won't hesitate to return. We had a toddler in tow and it was a great peace of mind knowing that she could play at the villa/garden safely with its locked gate. We took a paddling pool and set it up under the awning so that if it was too hot to play by the pool she could still have fun in the shade. The atmosphere around the small childrens pool was lovely - lots of families - and all the children playing beautifully with each other and having the best kind of fun in a safe environment.

We didn't hire a car this holiday as we wanted a relaxing peaceful holiday for a change and thats certainly what we got - even with the toddler in tow!! We did venture out by foot to the town and the Balcon and several local beaches which are well worth a visit and good exercise into the bargain! We chose mostly to stay at Capistrano and make use of all the facilities there. The supermarket is only a few minutes walk away and we bought fresh meat, bread and salad daily for a bbq on the patio using fresh herbs picked from the borders in the garden - fantastic!! If we felt particularly lazy we used the bar/restaurant on site.

The owners/caretakers were extremely helpful at all times from our first enquiry right through to our return home. Recommend using the airport transfer service on offer - at least on a first visit - stress free and service with a smile! If you want a car you can have one delivered to the villa after you arrive.

The kitchen is the most well equipped kitchen i have ever encountered on a self catering holiday and there really is everything you need at hand.

Unfortunatley not suitable for the disabled like my mother - too many steps to the pool and a shame there isn't a sofa bed for our daughter as she gets older - perfect whilst she can sleep in a cot or ready bed though.

The property is of a good all round standard, everything we needed for a holiday was right there at our hands, The owners had made sure that there was enough bits and pieces for us to get settled in pretty quick, all the little things like salt and pepper, cooking oil, these little things make all the difference when you are going self catering.
They have left enough litriture to help you find your way around on your early days, again all this helps.
The gardens are great and well looked after, I even enjoyed doing the watering of the gardens :) myself, I have raved about the village to all my friends and family.
I wouldnt hesitate to go back to this bungalow, it sure is a home from home. Thanks for having us.
