Clearwater Beach is a quiet beach community in the Springs section of East Hampton. It's a quiet residential neighborhood far from the traffic and crowds you'll find in the villages in the summer. Our neighbors are a mix of year-round residents and seasonal renters.
You will be happiest with a car; though it is possible to take a cab to the house from either the train or Jitney. Bike to bay beaches and historic Springs.
* The house is immaculately clean, organized, and fully furnished. However, my husband and I just bought it a year ago, and many planned projects — additional landscaping, an outdoor shower (not to mention a swimming pool!) have not yet happened—and the price reflects this.

About Laura Fenton
I'm Laura, and I'm a writer and editor. My husband Weston is a professional photographer. We've both lived in New York for more than a decade and we currently split our time between Brooklyn and East Hampton, NY. We bought this house in 2013, and we are so excited to welcome guests to our weekend retreat.

Why Laura Fenton chose Springs
We have always loved the East End and we loved the proximity to the bay beaches and the quiet remove from the hubbub of the village. Springs has long-inspired artists, and it is a special place for all. This is our home, not just a rental property--you'll feel the difference in the personal touches, great decor and attention to detail throughout the house.
What makes this house unique
You'll love the light in this cottage! It's bright even on grey days. The house features an ideal layout for a family or a couple who likes to hosts friends. The master suite is located on one side of the house, while the guest bedrooms share a bath on the other. The kitchen is well-appointed for avid chefs and we have a Weber grill. Runners and cyclists will love having Gerard Drive right nearby.
