This is a brand new renovation, just purchased, and we couldn't be happier to add this to our small group of prestigious pristine apartments in the heart of Paris.
Just around the corner from the Bastille monument and square, on a quiet side street, perched up on the fourth floor (with elevator and balcony), this totally renovated apartment is our newest venture.
The lobby/common space is immaculate and reminds you of SOHO or Greenwhich village with exposed polished brick and crystal chandeliers. Take the new elevator up to your one bedroom apartment, and see the original oak wood floors and brand new sleek kitchen and bathroom.
Air-conditioned? YES! (central system), and with a balcony and a view over the rooftops and the gilded bronze monumental statue of the Genie of Liberty atop the pillar of the Bastille.
This is a one bedroom apartment that can accommodate 4 guests - the master bedroom has a new queen mattress and the living room comfortable sofa bed welcomes two more guests if needed.
And, we offer FULL CONCIERGE SERVICE, your personal concierge handles your housekeeping, meet-and-greet service -- available during your entire stay should you need anything, including translations, reservations, etc. For an additional fee, they can also arrange for private CHAUFFEUR pick up at the airport. (90E/2 guests/each way)
Why do I love this apartment?
Location location - walkable to almost every major tourist attraction, or use the Metro at the Bastille to glide into the Louvre in under ten minutes!
New renovation: Charm has been maintained, but common space and kitchen/bath are brand new high end renovations that are both practical and visually pleasing.
The decoration: Completely designed by antique dealers, this apartment is filled with the elegance and warmth of Louis Philippe antiques - you will have no doubt you are in a sophisticated in town Paris apartment!
I spent ten days in this wonderful apartment in September and could not have been happier. It is surrounded by wonderful restaurants, specialty food shops and interesting boutiques, but perched high above it all with a view over the zinc rooftops to the west where the golden angel at the Place de la Bastille presides over spectacular sunsets. Sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine was the perfect way to savor the day's adventures.
The apartment (in fact, the entire building) is recently renovated, with everything required for being truly at home and comfortable. The furnishings are carefully chosen antiques, so I felt immersed in French history and culture without even having to venture out. But when I did go out, there are two bus stops a short stroll in either direction, and the nearby Bastille Metro station gives you easy access to all of Paris.
If I could live in Paris full time, I would feel very lucky to have a home like this, and I will definitely go back as soon as possible.
Since we were going to be in Paris for over 3 weeks, we wanted to make sure we had a lovely place to come home to after a full day of touring, shopping, etc. This Bastille apartment did not disappoint. Every detail about it was perfect. Upon arrival we were greeted by Mathias who spoke fluent English and gave us an overview of the apartment and the neighborhood. The space felt larger than it seemed in the pictures. The French doors to the balcony made it bright even on cloudy days. The kitchen was well equipped (allowing us to cook what we bought at the Bastille open air market!); there were plenty of towels, pillows, etc. But what made it special was the attention to detail in the furnishings and accessorising. It simply felt like an elegant Parisian home. Mathias is a wonderful manager and he went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect. The dry cleaner, bakery, and shoe repair on Rue Roquette are great! This is the most professional management company we have ever dealt with - from our first contact until the day we left, all went smoothly! Definitely will return and recommend to friends. Merci Jim and Mathias!
We rented this apartment for a month and it was excellent. The apartment is very well appointed and comfortable to live in which is appreciated after a hard day travelling around various Paris sites. All the booking details were concise and accurate, we were met at the apt by a friendly young man and shown through. The metro stations are a 10 minute walk and the bus goes from Eiffel Tower to your street so great for coming home if you are tired of the metro stairs. Bastille station has 3 lines running through it. Bastille is a young area so it is lively but our street was quiet and we were never disturbed by noise. We enjoyed a glass of champagne or 2 on the balcony which was a bonus to have in Paris. Would highly recommend this apt.
just around the corner from the Bastille - including the new Opera House, and on the edge of the Marais (easy walk) and blocks from the Ile St Louis….
