Black Bart House Rental Photos and Description

4 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Cabin On Culdesac With Gorgeous Mountain And Meadow Views

Welcome to our 'Cozy Cabin'

We fell in love with this house the minute we saw it, and we know you will too! This place truly defines the 'Tahoe Experience'. Located in the quiet, lovely Black Bart neighborhood, on a spacious, wooded lot, with a gorgeous meadow and stream across the way, you truly feel like you are away from it all. However, hop right on Pioneer Trail and you will be at Heavenly Ski Resort, the casinos, or the beach in just 5-10 minutes. Bijou Park with a skate park, playground, and fields are also within walking distance or a short bike ride away.

The charming house is located at the end of a culdesac, with no neighbors on either side. It is tucked away from the street, so it feels like you are secluded. Have kids? So do we. They will love running around and exploring the wooded lot, with NO traffic going by. We know our kids do!

Our cabin is newly renovated, top to bottom, with gorgeous wood floors, pine doors and trim, open, beautiful vaulted wood ceiling, granite counter-tops, and travertine tile.

Fast WiFi (N600 router) that has a strong signal throughout the house and will handle multiple devices with ease.

Keyless entry (4 digit code) makes it very convenient to come and go without having to carry a key. Especially convenient for larger groups since there is no need to share keys.

Downstairs, you will walk into a large open foyer, with the two bedrooms, a laundry room with brand new full size washer/dryer, and a mud room to keep all those jackets and snow boots out of the way.

The master bedroom, on the first floor, has it's own bathroom with a newly tiled shower, tub and granite topped vanity. It also has a cozy, romantic fireplace, ceiling fan, two closets, flatscreen TV, and French doors leading out onto the porch. You will love the queen size bed, with a brand new luxury plush mattress, soft pillows, and Pottery Barn bedding.

Also downstairs, the 'bunk room' has two sets of bunk beds, a flatscreen TV, Playstation 3 (with games), and lots of games for the kids to enjoy. It's a great place for the kids to hang out and have fun.

Both downstairs bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans. The home does not have air conditioning (as most Tahoe homes do not), however even in the summer the the nights are very cool and letting in the mountain air will be enough to cool you off.

Upstairs, you will be wowed by a large, open great room with brand new leather couches and a cozy floor to ceiling brick fireplace . A brand new 55' LG smart LCD TV (with internet access, Netflix, Hulu, etc), Blu-Ray DVD player, and a soundbar for rich theater sound. Want to listen to music? Just connect your mobile device (smartphone, iPOD, etc) to the soundbar for great sound.

The dining room table seats 8 and you will love enjoying the gorgeous view of Mt. Tallac right out the large picture window.

Adjacent to the open great room is the kitchen, with granite counter-tops, brand new appliances and a breakfast nook with seating for 4. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, coffee maker, toaster, crock pot, blender, just about anything you need!

Just off the great room is a huge deck with a beautiful view of the meadow out front. The deck has a patio table for outdoor dining, chaise lounges, brand new BBQ, and a steaming hot tub ready to go.

Upstairs there are also two more bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, and one more bathroom. We splurged on super comfortable Sealy pillow top mattresses, soft pillows, and Pottery Barn bedding....so you are sure to have a good night's sleep every night.

We also just installed a brand new tankless water heater that never runs out of hot water....so your group can enjoy unlimited hot showers without ever worrying about running out of hot water.

There is also beach gear (beach chairs, umbrella, and a cooler) that is available for guest use in the summer months.

Booking: Your reservation will be confirmed when the first payment and signed rental agreement have been received. Minimum age for renters is 25. For adult groups, everyone in the group must be 25 or older.

About Jamie Loosbrock

We recently bought our Tahoe dream home and are looking forward to making memories here with friends and family, and sharing our 'home away from home' with other families. We live in San Diego, and have two kids, ages 12 and 9. We grew up vacationing in Tahoe with our families, and it is a very special place to us.

Jamie Loosbrock purchased this house in 2013

Why Jamie Loosbrock chose Black Bart

We love this house because it feels like you are out in the woods, yet it is close to everything. Kids can run and play, and you don't have to worry about neighbors or cars going by. The meadow and mountain views are simply breathtaking. We absolutely love Tahoe and everything it has to offer, both winter and summer. We especially enjoy hiking, horseback riding, boating, jet skiing, all the beautiful beaches, lake activities, and of course just riding bikes around the neighborhood.

Awesome Tahoe Cabin!

  • 5 of 5

A group of friends and I went up to Tahoe for a weekend getaway. We just got back, and this cabin exceeded our expectations! When it comes to booking the cabin and working out the logistics, the owners are responsive and pleasant to deal with. Getting into the cabin was smooth on the day we arrived.

The cabin itself is in great condition. Clean, nicely updated and quite roomy. We especially enjoyed the kitchen, outdoor grill, and outdoor hot tub. There was 8 of us in total, and the number of beds and bathrooms were plenty.

We went in the early Spring, so I can't comment on whether it's convenient for skiing or not, but it is close to the Heavenly lifts. The cabin is very centrally located to all the main things you'd likely want to do in Tahoe. It's also very close to Pioneer Trail, so it was easy to get to the main Tahoe drag.

All-in-all, my friends and I would recommend it!

Loved it

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying at this cozy cabin. We were 5 adults and 4 kids and there was space for all. When it was too cold to be outside, the kids enjoyed using the Playstation and the adults could relax watching TV. We really liked the fact that the house is in a secluded area and everything is top of the line. The owners responded promptly to all our needs.

Great location, beautiful home

  • 5 of 5

Our family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Quiet neighborhood, great view, close to skiing, plenty for kids and adults to do. It was perfect for 2 families with kids/teenagers. Deck, BBQ, and entertainment center were a definite plus. Owners were friendly and helpful.

Great Stay with 4 couples

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay. We were a total of 4 couples and there was plenty of room for us. We used the hot tub daily and also grilled on multiple occasions. It was only a five minute drive to the bottom of heavenly for nightlife and/or skiing. It is in a very quiet and secluded area which is nice. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Nice place and as advertised

  • 4 of 5

The place is in a good location and quiet street. Close to all facilities and as advertised. We didn't use the hot tub unfortunately, bring your own towels for that. Thanks to Corey and Jamie for the assistance and ease of access to the place. Will recommend for sure. Loved Tahoe. Just wish we had more snow!!

Great stay with the brothers

  • 5 of 5

Hello Corey, and Jamie,

Sorry, for getting back to you so late. We had a great stay in your wonderful cabin. Great location, close to everything. Got a dusting of snow on Sat. night which was real cool. Really enjoyed everything about our stay. The deck. Jacuzzi, bbq, horseshoe pit, all a big benefit. Will definitely stay again hopefully in the new future.
