We do feed from time to time 1 or 2 stray cats. They will not come closer to anyone than a few meters but we are both animal lovers and prefer animal lovers as guests. They do not come in the house.
What an Island , what a villa! Paella round the table with great wine, a film in the sitting room after a days kite surfing, swimming pool races with everyone cheering…. What a holiday!
Everything catered for down to the Molton Brown hand wash.
Many thanks, warmest wishes.
A wonderfully well put together oasis of calm and relaxation. Beautifully appointed throughout, our stay has been made by the quality of our surroundings.
A thoroughly memorable stay for all.

We just don’t want to leave! Staying at CasaVerde was like living as a king, a real oasis of peace , beauty, design and comfort
This villa is the perfect basis for discovering the mystic Fuerteventura and so we did!
Thank you for sharing your palace with us.
Beautiful Villa, beautiful garden, beautiful pool a beautiful holiday. 5* and more!
Thank you so much
Casa Verde is exceptionally well fitted out and maintained. The house itself is beautifully designed, with wide walls of glass, wraparound balconies and spacious rooms. The furnishings are also excellent: comfortable, stylish and oozing quality. I'm a picky guest when it comes to beds, and really appreciated the lovely bedlinen and soft pillows. The garden too has been really thoughtfully laid out, with palms and tropical plants. The pool is a good size for playing in, or actually doing a few lengths! We loved being able to walk to two local restaurants and shops, and cooking and eating in the brilliantly-equipped kitchen was also a pleasure. Our thanks to Naomi for keeping in touch as we arrived (Europcar at Fuerteventura airport were a bit hard to find, operating out of a small unmarked hut in the car park!) and also to Fernanda who is a welcoming face as you arrive, as are the little cats at the window the next morning!
Villa is located on a hillside. Entry from the terrace is impressive. Inside, the size and proportion of the rooms are amazing and finished to a high standard. All mod-cons and home comforts are here.
Garden terrace is well arranged, the pool a welcome place in hot afternoons. In mornings before the sun moves onto the pool/terrace, upstairs balcony provides generous space for sunbathing or admiring sea view/mountains.
All rooms are comfortable, furnished to a high standard. There’s no power shower but otherwise wet room designs are very inviting. The Hammam is great, only be careful to wear something on your feet - it’s slippery when you walk out onto the terrace tiles. The same applies when showering before using the pool.
The kitchen is superb for cooking. Even when it’s raining, there’s lots to do indoors – in cooler winter evenings there’s a log burner in the lounge to keep you comfy. The aircon units in the bedrooms also offer warmth in winter nights, which is great.
The Villa’s cats are ‘disinterested food guests’ - apart from Spencer they don’t like human attention. Spencer’s ears need sunscreen or they get very sore – and it’s not easy to get on!
Villaverde has a few shops and excellent restaurants all within walking distance (though a couple are 20 mins walk on far side of village). A car is advised. Spar Padilla supermarket in Las Palmeras shopping centre of Corralejo had the widest selection of fresh/frozen food, cereals, drinks, alcohol, household/hygiene products. Plenty of good bars & restaurants in Corralejo with the white sandy beaches nearby and National Park with camels on road to Puerto del Rosario. Temp on coast is 3?C warmer than the villa in winter; perfect for building a golden tan quickly but very windy. Surfing is also popular with several schools.
Drives to the south are recommended – Gran Tarajal has friendly shops and restaurants though it is a slow, quiet place so don’t go in a rush. The ‘black sand’ beach is worth a walk and the bay is calm and welcoming. Then there’s Morro Jable at the south end of the Island – full of tourist bars & restaurants with great Ocean views. The botanical gardens at Oasis Park near La Lajita are worth a visit – fresh fruit refreshments, ice creams, camel rides and wild life to see.
A great escape from UK winter blues. Although the island is more barren than tropical, it has some real treasures, great restaurants, relaxing pace of life and everyone seems friendly/helpful.
Beautiful property - just as described. Would strongly recommend.
The pictures and description of this lovely villa are entirely accurate ... it is serviced twice a week by pool cleaning services and again twice by a caretaker/ maid. Naomi, the owner is easy to contact should you require to do so and is non-intrusive otherwise.
This is certainly a villa to consider and I expect many return time and time again
Great villa that exceeded our expectations, beautifully presented with lots of different areas to enjoy. We had great meals at Restaurant Mahoh and the El Horno Restaurant in Villaverde, but also enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen at Casa Verde. Lovely beach at El Cotillo. Thank you Naomi and David for looking after us so well.
Casa Verde, the Boutique Villa with Spa, is located on the outskirts of the village of Villaverde with views to Lanzarote and Corralejo in the north. It is a 10 minute drive to either the stunning beaches of La Oliva Beach to the east or to Cotillo's wild and rugged coastline to the west.
Other Activities: Cinema, water park, shopping
