Conveniently located one block from major bus lines and a convenience store and one half block from Phelps Park, this cozy home sleeps up to 6 comfortably with room for an air mattress for more. Features include formal dining room, backyard patio and deck, gas grill and fire pit!
This home is the definition of early 20th century Minneapolis charm and architectural style. With the natural woodwork, hardwood floors, built-in buffet, flower gardens and beautiful outdoor spaces my home can be your temporary home away from home!
Guests in my home have access to all creature comforts of the home. Laundry facilities, fully appointed kitchen, backyard patio and deck and gas grill are all available for your use.
Great block in the heart of the city. Enjoy the park at the end of the block, easy access to uptown, downtown, eat street, Lake Nokomis, Mall of America, and more!
One half block from major bus lines, access to 2 adult sized bikes can be arranged, light rail to downtown is approx 20 blocks.
This darling house was perfect for us! The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, spices... And any extra staples one might need. I found myself staring out the back window envisioning a summer visit in the welcoming back yard. Thank you! It was great to be with our daughter who lives only a mile away from this home! What a relaxing Thanksgiving we had!
We stayed for almost three weeks, part of the time with one or both of my sisters, in this wonderful house. There was plenty of room for us all and the basement laundry was a real plus for a long term stay. We noticed no smell of mold as noted by previous guests so that issue has been successfully addressed.
The kitchen has been updated but there remain original features in other rooms, such as the gorgeous, built-in buffet in the dining room.
We were doing a lot of biking and the location midway between the Mid-town Greenway and the Minnehaha Creek trails, with wide connecting bike lanes on Park and Portland avenues, made the location ideal. The neighborhhood contained classic and well-maintained older Minneapolis homes with streets arched by a covering of lush, old trees.
Annalie was so accommodating to all of our needs and whims. We could not have asked for more. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
This house is located 10 minutes from downtown, the U of MN hospital and the airport. The neighboorhood is safe and quiet and just a few doors down is a lovely park. There is a small grocery just around the corner as well as a really great Lutheran church. It is on a bus route to downtown.
The house itself is adorable. It has 2 bedrooms upstairs with super comfy beds and ample room. The bathroom is upstairs. The ground floor has a sofa,tv and cable, a nice dining table and a cute closed in front porch that works great for an office. Kitchen is well equipped even with basic spices and staples. Basement is really musty and the only great thing is a WD unit. There is also a 1/2 built sauna so that will be amazing once its finished.
Annalie is super great to deal with. She went out of her way to accomodate us. We will for sure always try to stay in this house on our trips to Minneapolis.
