BRAND NEW TO VACATION RENTAL MARKET. ALL NEW STUFF. GREAT LOCATION. AWESOME BUILDING.

This condo is very tastefully appointed with all brand new furnishings in two bedrooms and one bathroom. The kitchen is fully furnished with everything you might need. Unit includes a pullout couch so it will sleep 6 total. There is a gas fireplace and washer/dryer. We have another unit in the same building (#12) and couldn't pass this one up when it became available. It turned out even better than I imagined. See VRBO list 479391 for our other listing to get a feel for what this brand new unit is like and the reviews we have been given. This unit is now ready for occupancy and our first guest will arrive May 18th.

Do you like shopping? This condo is walking distance to all of the best shopping in Estes Park. You wont have to find a parking spot for your downtown shopping expeditions. You can safely run your purchases back to the condo instead of carrying them with you or leaving them in the car.

Do you like dining out? There are many of the finest restaurants in Estes again within a few minutes walk from the condo including Ed's Cantina, Poppys, Momma Rosas, The Stanley Hotel, Peppers, Claires, Starbucks, Kind Coffee and more.

Do you like see the beauty of the outdoors and Rocky Mountain National Park? What could be more convenient than walking along the riverwalk two blocks to the visitor center to board the FREE shuttle bus into the National Park? You can also walk from the condo to Lake Estes and to the Knolls Willow open space.

Do you have small children with you? The library across the street has many excellent resources for kids and the riverwalk has a playground to the west and in the winter an ice rink.

We like to travel too! This is with our son on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. We have used VRBO on many occasions and love the value, charm and convenience of VRBO properties. Owning a VRBO is almost as much fun as travelling.

We own another unit in this building and love the comments we get from our guests. They love that unit for the same reason we did. The location cant be beat and the unit itself is very nice. But don't take my word look at the reviews for VRBO #479391 yourself.

This unit is not quite as large but it too will sleep up to 6 people. And the furnishings in this unit are even nicer.

We go out of our way to make sure our units are well furnished, exceptionally clean and of course conveniently located. There is a Starbucks just down the stairs and many restaurants and shops just right outside the door. Or if you prefer to walk along the river or down and around Lake Estes its all right there. If you dream of leaving your car parked for a few days and exploring on foot this is the place for you. From performance park, downtown and bond park West of the building, the Knoll Willows open space. Stanley Hotel and Library to the North, Lake Estes and golf course to the East or River walk and Big Thomson River immediately South its all right here.

Convenient location which is super convenient, Elevator in Building, In unit Laundry, Brand New Furnishings, Starbucks downstairs, and Deck.

At the heart of it all

If you like being able to park your car and walk everywhere then this is the place. In the heart of shopping, restaurants, river walk, major grocery store, fast food, library, playground, even the historic Stanley Hotel. The parking is in a free, public lot across the street with a permit for overnight parking. Thought we might have trouble finding a place to park if we went out and in during the day, but never did. Always empty spaces. The elevator helps with getting suitcases up and down and makes it accessible for those who can't climb stairs.
Traveling with 4 young adult and teen children we were pleased at how much room this unit had. Bigger than we imagined from the pictures. A huge bonus was the twin beds in the second bedroom instead of one bed. It's hard to find accommodations for 6 with that extra bed, most places offer two beds and the pull-out couch. Loved the separate laundry room. Helped keep things more tidy and out of the way.
We put the family games, wifi and cable to good use. In addition to exploring Estes Park and relaxing we recommend trying an off-road adventure. We used Backbone Adventures. And of course, Rocky Mountain National Park is a must. We had only one full day and hiked from Bear Lake to Emerald Lake and drove Trail Ridge Road to the Alpine Visitor's Center. Arrive early as parking fills up even in the shuttle lots.
Coming from Florida where we live in air-conditioning for most of the year we found it a bit warm in the evenings and during the night. Not much cross ventilation. A ceiling fan in the master bedroom would help. As mentioned by others the garbage truck is rather noisy early in the morning, but the other street traffic noise was no problem. When we arrived the key wasn't in the lockbox. We called Andy and the problem was taken care of immediately. The cleaning lady had left it inside, but within 10 minutes she was there to let us in.
Our stay was too short and we hope to one day return. We would definitely stay here again or in their other unit. We met the tenants staying there and got to tour it. Thanks so much for the very classy, clean, comfortable, convenient, and well-stocked loft. 12 thumbs up! (remember there were 6 of us)

Young family - great experience

My family of 4, including an 18 month old and 3.5 yo recently enjoyed a weeklong stay. Recently renovated, the condo is in great shape. It's not explicitly stated, but there is no AC for the unit, which is apparently quite common in the area, just not something I anticipated. It cools off enough at night to not be an issue.
We made it work, but a word of caution to families with curious toddlers who still require child-proofing. Ours made a point of finding all the outlets, drawers with knives, etc. The bathroom is a shower only, no tub. The kitchen table is the tall type, so the highchair didn't reach. Maybe they can get one of those kind that attach to the table instead? We used the patio table for our toddler to eat. By next year our toddler will be past this so I'd have no problem reserving the exact same condo, and like I said, we made it work.
I wouldn't change a thing about the location. It is very close to RMNP. (I highly recommend visiting the park before/at sunrise - breathtaking, and the animals are all over the place!) When not in the park, we enjoyed several trips to the library, which has an outstanding children's section, and made good use of our temporary card. (You can check out books, DVDs, toys, and CDs.) There is a FANTASTIC farmers market next to the library every Thursday morning. We wished it was held earlier in the week so we could stock up on all the goodies! Everything downtown is right there, and the parking is very accessible. We also made many visits to the Starbucks, river walk and playground. The condo balcony does overlook the highway running through downtown, but most of the traffic noise (which wasn't bad) was during the day and it was very quiet at night. The early morning dumpster collection was was actually a main attraction for our little ones! They would run to the balcony and watch the whole process. No sleeping in with little ones, so it didn't bother us at all.
The living area/balcony has a beautiful view of some small "mountains" (for lack of better word), and we enjoyed some nice sunsets. We never heard any neighbors, and hopefully they can say the same about us! All-in-all, a lovely experience. We settled in and enjoyed our stay at our "mountain house," as coined by our 3 year old.

Owner's Response: Glad you liked our place and found the location to your liking. I think it's a great spot. I am sorry for the misunderstanding on the A/C. I know the vrbo website currently shows there is no A/C but maybe that information was not available when you booked. Your current assumption that Estes properties don't often include A/C is correct. It would be rarely used as heat is more likely used even in July and August. But the patio door, windows and ceiling fan are there to help on the warmer days. The condo hasn't specifically been child proofed as you describe. We will look into some plug covers and other safety measures to prevent accidents. I am also going to switch out the high chair for the freestanding chair with tray to fix this issue. Thanks for the feedback and we hope to see you next year!

Excellent location in the middle of Estes. Well maintained with all the amenities. 5 minute walk to the downtown shops and restaurants. The two twin beds were perfect for our 6 and 12 year old boys. The parking lot across the street was very convenient also. We will definitely be back!

The condo was very clean, modern and comfortable. I was very glad that there was laundry in the unit and enjoyed the privacy of a corner unit. Most things in town were within walking distance which was great. The only thing I would change if possible was the traffic. The condo is essentially located on the Main Street of downtown estes, although great for location, it was difficult to tune out the noise at night. Most of the time was spent around town so the condo was a great place to return to and relax, and the renters were very accommodating. I would recommend this place to a friend.

Owner's Response: Glad to hear you like the condo. Traffic would be difficult to change but if I could I would do that and my commute would be a breeze! During the day in Summer I know Elkhorn sees quite a bit of traffic but evenings after dark are much quieter in town, although an occasional truck or Harley can be heard. And the master bedroom is on the opposite side of the unit. But we don't want to provide an okay experience we want to be great. To address this we have placed individually wrapped packages of earplugs in the bedroom which will easily compensate for the limited street noise and there is a sound soother in the second bedroom. I am confident these will do the trick. I'm glad you liked the unit and convenience and that you are recommending us to your friends. Thanks for the feedback.

The wildlife in the Estes valley and in RMNP is something to see: Elk, deer, bears, coyotes, beavers, eagles, big horn sheep, badgers, fox, and more.
